The Korg Legacy Collection series are packages that contain software versions of classic Korg synthesizers. Delivering perfect replications of the original sounds while adding many new functions that open up fresh possibilities, these software synthesizers have received the acclaim that you would expect from Korg, the original manufacturer.
On August 31st, it was officially confirmed that Miku’s V4 update would be a V4X title and a demo was released showcasing a voicebank called “Hatsune Miku Original”. It was also revealed that Miku’s V4X would also contain 2 E.V.E.C. vocals: Soft and Power, though more E.V.E.C. vocals may be planned.

Tubular Bells, otherwise known as Orchestra Chimes or Orchestra Bells, are a member of the percussion family often used to emulate the sound of church bells. It’s use is broad- everything from “epic orchestral” to concert band music and more. This particular set has been deep-sampled to provide excellent playability and reasonably good sound quality, certainly good enough for any project. There is a very large dynamic range on the instrument, allowing it to ring out above the orchestra as it truly would, or sink behind quietly to just accent the flow of the piece. The chimes’ delays were recorded up to 10 seconds; pressing down the sustain pedal will unleash the full resonance of the chimes.

Developed on the Kontakt™. The Trumpet and Trombone, as well as the French Horn and Tuba, exploit the Harmonic Alignment Technology for real time building of articulations. The Sax Brothers use an alternative approach, the Synchronous Wave Triggering. This latter technique is less suited to the Kontakt engine, due to some technical limitations, including jitter and fixed interpolation.
Scale Player is a MIDI effect plug-in that allows you to play different scales in any key and mode using the idea of relative notes rather that static note values. The plug-in calculates the intervals between pitches based on the selected scale and the user can move up and down the scale playing melodies, arpeggios or even chords using a few keys.
