APU Loudness Leveler is a real-time volume leveler/rider designed to keep audio within your target loudness range in real-time. Set a target loudness, choose a tolerance, and the leveler continuously applies gain correction to keep dialog, vocals, podcasts, streams, or program material hovering around the level you want. The Leveler is designed to be “set it and forget it” for real-time loudness control. Configurable timing modes cover fast momentary riding, slower short-term correction, and a traditional RMS mode. Guard modes, sidechain control, predictive low-latency operation, detector EQ, and built-in limiting provide plenty of tools to keep the leveler working smoothly in a wide range of real-world scenarios. The built-in guard mode is especially useful for keeping the leveler from boosting into tails or cutting into transients, while the low-level handling modes can keep it from overreacting to noise and ambience when the source gets quiet.
The APU Loudness Limiter is a real-time limiter designed to support multiple loudness types simultaneously. The limiter can be configured to use LUFS, True Peak, RMS, and/or Peak loudness types. This allows you to target multiple requirements simultaneously, such as a specific LUFS target and a specific True Peak target. Internally, the ballistics of the limiter are adjusted to accommodate the different loudness type limiter settings.
APU TrueGain is a powerful utility plugin which corrects for a fundamental challenge in audio engineering: a mix’s tonal balance changes depending on the listening level. By modeling the human ear’s frequency sensitivity at different Sound Pressure Levels (SPL), TrueGain allows you to audition and control your audio with perceptual consistency. Polyphonic semi-modular virtual analog synthesizer with built-in pattern sequencer and a filter based on the classic music composer 202 Imagine a 303 on steroids – that’s what we created with Semi Modular X (ASM1X). Collaborating with our friend AlphaDog, we enhanced the mock-up with additional features like patch cables and polyphony. The result is a truly unique and versatile instrument. Although ASM1X has its roots in sequenced synth sounds, it stands out for its exceptional pads and leads, making it a hidden gem for producers. The heart of ASM1X is its 202 filter, known for its self-oscillating resonance, precise tuning, and wide frequency range spanning from sub-bass to beyond the upper limit of human hearing. This filter has a powerful voice that can truly captivate. Most of the modules in ASM1X support control voltage (CV), allowing real-time signal path modifications without any audio glitches.
