Skyline is an easy to use multi-band image editor for mastering.

You can easily enhance or create depth in a track with the quick and easily accessible controls and you don’t have to worry that you push it too hard since whatever you do with Skyline you can’t break the mono-compatibility. Skyline consists of three main controls, Spread, Pan and Width. ‘Spread’ will either enhance the ambiance by using the information in the difference channel and spread it out in the stereo-field, or use the information from the sum-channel and spread that out in the stereo-field. The latter is great if you want to up-mix a mono-file to stereo. ‘Pan’ will pan the audio in the selected band and ‘Width’ will either boost the sum or the difference by 2dB without touching the other channel. The Progressive EZX features a custom selection of content from The Progressive Foundry SDX for Superior Drummer 2. It comes with three complete kits recorded by engineer/producer Forrester Savell. With credits on defining albums by bands like Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and I Am Giant, Savell has shaped a few of the most sonically progressive productions in the modern Australian metal and heavy rock scene. The drums were captured at the Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne, Australia. During its more than 35 years in business, the studio has collected a vast selection of top tier microphones and rare outboard gear. Combined with the dense wood-lined walls in its perfectly balanced A-room, Sing Sing has proven time and time again to be the perfect environment for broad, transparent drum recording. The drums, which were sampled by Karnivool’s own Steve Judd, include carefully selected kits from DW, Ludwig and Pearl.

SPECTRAL MODELED ELECTRIC PIANO: We decoded and analyzed a vintage electric piano sinewaves spectrum for every note and every velocity, and recreated it manually. When you play a note on Markus, the exact same sound for the original instrument will be generated (no samples involved) And we did it manually. Every single harmonic was tuned by ear. Like in acoustic piano tuning, the final touch is always made manually, and no tuning software or algorithm is able to replace that.
