It can slice up any sample, i.e. not only rhythmic loops. The slicing is either based on events or on a given note length. Once your sample is sliced up, the fun begins! There are tons of groovy beat manipulating tools at your service, to make the most out of your sliced up samples. When you are done processing your sample you can either export it as a single sample/loop or export each slice individually in a variety of formats.

The Tube-Tech PE 1C is a passive, tube-based equalizer suitable for many different sources ranging from bass drums and guitars to vocals. The equalizer features a Low Frequency section made up of two low shelf filters which can be combined to attenuate and boost at the same time. These filters are actually bit apart in frequency even if they are controlled by the same frequency selector. The High Frequency section has a peak and shelving filter working in parallel, which provides a smooth top end while not getting too bright.The ability to combine the different filters and sections is what gives the PE 1C its characteristic sound and is something which plays a crucial part in explaining the classic Pultec sound.

It sends audio through a delay feedback line and resamples the output into 2 discrete branches. You can then manipulate each branch independently and adjust playback locations for each channel. Use Kristall as a simple delay or create segmented repetitions from the feedback buffer that modulate and overlap. The result creates complex patterns that augment the delay feedback in unconventional ways, uncovering myriad possibilities for sound experimentation.
