MMG uses a 4-pole (24 dB/oct) low-pass filter with cutoff, resonance and a modified ciruit to switch the filter at 2-pole (12 dB/oct). KRG It was one of “K” first major successful portable analog monosynths and even today it is still a great little machine! In addition to two analog oscillators, it featured two resonant VCFs (voltage controlled filters). The VCF section is capable of high-pass, low-pass, notch and band-reject which is unique and different than your basic lowpass style filter. It makes a great alternative for MMG. KRG sounds fat, round, punch and percussive. The circuit has been refurbished.
