CELLO UNTAMED is a solo cello library with the idea that samples should sound like a performance. At the heart of the instrument is our unique Improvised articulation; a series of emotional, evolving and improvised notes. This sounds like a musician taking your composition and adding an individual direction and human performance. We recorded every single note over three octaves at 3 different intensities with two variations for each layer, giving you 222 totally unique performances. The quietest layer is subtle and delicate, the medium layer brings more emotion and character, whilst the loudest layer sounds wild, intense and often chaotic. They sound beautiful alone as individual notes or even more compelling when played as chord progressions.  With 9 other standard and extended articulations included, all performed with the same philosophy, CELLO UNTAMED is a Kontakt library for the composer that wants to add a raw, human and soulful element to their scores.

Updated with new Kontakt 5 and Kontakt 6 Instruments, the latter makes use of the new Kontakt 6 delay and reverb. Whilst working on AirWaves which is more atmospheric than musical, it occurred that a traditionally musical synthesizer using the sine wave de-modulator signals would be interesting, and so AirTones was born. The sounds use various tones and signals found on the radio to create the oscillators. They are lofi and come with whatever sound and noise is present to add a unique character to the tones. They were tried in the Cassetto engine and it was found to be perfect for exploring the tones. The great thing about doing this is that the presets are cross compatible and so all of the Cassetto presets are included as well as 100 specially created for AirTones. If you own Cassetto you can also copy the AirWaves Presets to your Cassetto folder to use them there. Obviously they will sound radically different due to the different sound sources, but can be very interesting!

Chamber Strings is a highly detailed and flexible chamber string library (6,5,3,3,1) recorded by expert recording engineer. A range of exciting and revolutionary techniques for recording longs, as well as freshly conceived scripting concepts allowed the natural dynamic movements of the musicians to be maintained, while remaining playable and intuitive. Windmill Lane is a uniquely wonderful scoring stage, used on many orchestral, film and TV projects. Utilizing the dryness of the room feature multiple mic positions with natural air absorption. In line with the Light and Sound philosophy which celebrates maximum flexibility, the sound can be shaped more freely than with samples recorded in a more ambient environment. To recreate the natural bleed of a real recording environment, the close mics of all sections were left open and set at their natural panning and levels while recording each instrument section. The “Bleeds” mic adds a unique and realistic flavor to mockups and compositions.
