1959 is based on the Electro-Acoustic Piano patent (lifetime expired) registered in 1959. We brought it to life using spectral modeling. Sound can be described as a CP80-like but a bit more tuned due to the fewer number of strings. THE EXPERIENCE OF RECREATING A FORGOTTEN ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC PIANO PATENT. Does it sound like the original one? We don’t know, because it has never been built. And we won’t build it (by the moment:) But the experience of bringing to life an instrument that never existed, was super-exciting. The resulting sound of this virtual instrument is warm, clean and bright. The expressiveness of the piano action we emulated gives it a nice and wide range of timbres. From warm lows to metallic shines on higher velocities.
Glassy is an EP module (+ pads) inspired on the lovely Digital Electric Piano sounds from the late ’80s and ’90s. Recreated by spectral modeling, offering 20 studio-quality Digital Pianos in just 35MB. NO FM, NO SAMPLES. AN ADDITIVE APPROACH: Glassy was built using spectral modeling. In some way it’s related with additive synthesis method. We used spectral models to recreate famous sounds and to introduce new ones. With a detailed control of the harmonics over the keyboard range.
The Stage-73 gives you actual authentic modeling of both Stage and Suitcase versions of the most popular electric piano on the planet —completed with unparalleled control of virtual mechanics, a complement of effects pedals, and built-in classic amps. The Stage-73 uses our award-winning modeling technology to faithfully reproduce the tine-based sound and playing experience of the most loved electric pianos of all time. We modeled both the Fender Rhodes Suitcase Piano and Stage Piano—including separate 1973 and 1974 models of the Stage in order to capture the difference in their components. We’re talking total sonic and aesthetic fidelity to the originals. You can even easily pop the top and customize the various mechanical components to make your instrument unique. Classic amps and an array of effect pedals round out the virtual electric piano you’ve always dreamed of having.
We’ve extracted the Suitcase 73’s DNA and packed it into a 35MB virtual instrument. Suit73 is the most detailed emulation we’ve created so far. Presenting the second generation of our spectral modeling engine (DNAudio 2.0) allowing us to create realistic and warm emulations.
