Guitar amp offers wide set of amplifiers and effects. Using it is simple and intuitive due to its drag and drop system, you have just to drag a module in the rack to create your customize effect’s chain. If it is the right sound, you can save your own set! Plug your guitar to the audio board and start Guitar Amp in stand alone mode, or just record in your favourite VST host with the plug-in version.
Sampled here was a large VOX AC30 amp for a tried and true amp sound. This is a different amp and was done in a different booth so it has a different flavour – certainly clearer than the original Big Amp version. Full commercial package size is 1.7 GB. 72 Presets. Most Amps were recorded in three tonal landscapes. Flat, bright and warm although that is not a rule. Most libraries with the exception of the Fender Champ 600 ( Two perspectives ) Have all three perspectives – giving you 24 different tones per amp to experiment with and in some cases 32.
An old Philco 6-tube amplifier has been extensively sampled to use as a unique tone-shaping tool in Nebula. Much time and effort went into making sure that the end results were faithful to the hardware, which sounds great, and was sold with several phonograph consoles (model G1708, for example) back in the 50′s. It was sampled in 3 different hardware setups (using Lynx Aurora), for 3 different flavors. For all 3, the unit’s bass and treble knobs were sampled so that Nebula could recreate the behavior of the unit across all possible combinations of the two. The ‘bass’ knob mostly acts as an adjustable high pass, and ‘treble’ as a shelf. Together they can also be used to create ’tilt-like’ eq setups (check the freq response graphs in manual to see what’s possible).
Sampled with ‘Prismsound Orpheus’ precision you will not be disappointed. Provided in 192 khz, 96 khz and 44.1 khz. 18 presets. Library size is 430 MB. 10 distortion kernels. Please note that these require a fully licensed Nebula Pro license to enjoy. A simple bass T100BX amp to give you a bit of space to your low end. It may need a bass boost with an EQ as there is a roll off in the deep end that will thin your bass somewhat if you are looking for deep notes.
This is a cutting edge library guaranteed to make your mixes sound less digital. You will be amazed at how someone had placed a sock over your digital files. Sampled at the highest sampling rate available to date in Nebula Libraries and delivered at that rate. Native 192 khz sampling and also 96 khz available. Designed to work best at 96 khz. This means you need to be patient as the libraries load and resample internally. Don’t worry, the quality will speak for itself. You will be amazed at the improved transient response.

Using very, very high quality uncoloured microphones for absolute authenticity, I sampled it from 5 cm away and 30 cm away from the cab. There are three settings basically. No eq, warm boost to the low end and a Warm and Brilliant boost added. Just simply add a distortion plugin before Nebula and use a high quality equaliser shelf to tailor the low end of the presets – add or take away to taste. You may be fooled into thinking there is an amp in your computer.
