AB_LM is a gain control which enables level matched and sample accurate AB comparison of FX chains. Plugin (FX) or even a complex FX chain to the sound. Most DAWs can easily enable/disable (AB) single plugins or even whole FX chains, but in most case there is an audible loudness difference between both cases. In order to compare the impact of a plugin chain objectively the loudness of the incoming signal should match with the loudness of outgoing signal. Comparing the plugin effect at equal loudness levels avoids the “louder is better” – pitfall.

Together with Mondstein Records we started to build a simple delay with Ducking. This feature allows you to add loud echos without losing the presence of the source signal. Use it e.g. to avoid an articulation loss. Then we found all the other useful features including the “rhythm preserving ping-pong” which obviously has never been realised before. Also apparently no other delay plug-in even offers an EQ for the delayed material. So in the end DuckDelay became this outstanding delay plugin. Probably the best you can get actually.

BaB Drive simulates the sound of analog tape and the classic tubes (triode, tetrode) in most of the popular DAWs Drive A changes the signal’s fundamental frequencies so when it’s on CW the signal will be distorted(Bias). Drive B will make an equal (operating level) and even&odd harmonics. Should you want to add more depth, warmth and presence turn CW the Drive A.
The Amount switch will attenuate the warmth.

At the heart of the studio’s sound was the Trident A Range console. It became so well known for its gorgeous, musical EQ and the full, rich tone it imparted soon, studios around the world were placing orders for an A Range of their own. Although only 13 were ever made, they created a legacy that continues to this day.

FILTERED ANALOG BBD ECHO

Delay MEMORY-BRIGADE is love letter to the legendary BBD – or “bucket brigade device” – that created a revolution in time-based modulation effects. During the 70s, more and more audio effects turned to the compact, reliable BBD technology to create chorus and flange effects, but it really shined in creating an iconic, filtered lo-fi delay sound that’s still loved by musicians and music lovers to this day. One of the first, and certainly the greatest BBD delays was the Memory Man, and the slightly redesigned Deluxe Memory Man created by effects pioneers Electro-Harmonix in the mid-70s. Guitarists and record engineers loved its unique sound: a dark, filtered bark that was worlds apart from traditional tape delays. We based the Delay MEMORY-BRIGADE on this legendary pedal, so you can enjoy its driven feedback and “rusty” tone in your own productions.
