ECHOSON is the new weapon to unleash the creativity and bring to life new and original sounds. Many contemporary engineers use it on vocals, keyboards and drums to achieve a unique tone. ECHOSON, the revolutionary simulation of a legendary Drum Delay, originally manufactured by the Italian company Binson. ECHOSON goes beyond the mere simulation of the original unit, by adding features not available in the hardware. One of the main addition is the option to double the processor panel to have it working on a stereo pair of audio channels with cross-feedbacks between the channels. The original units have been manufactured in the ’60s and ’70s by an Italian company. They are currently in high demand thanks to their unique tone which adds a touch of personality to modern recordings.
In the 1990s, PCM synths were at their peak, but club scene artists were already searching for a more flexible, analog sound, hinting at the coming analog revival of the 2000s. It was in this context that the Prophecy was announced in 1995, offering more flexibility and timbral capabilities than ever before heard. Defined by the cutting edge digital signal processing technology and a DSP chip formerly used exclusively for effects processing, the Prophecy Solo Synthesizer is now available as a software plugin, with the ease of use, polyphony, and modern features necessary for today’s music production.
VINTAGE COMPRESSORS —painstakingly accurate emulations of three of the most heavily-used compressors in studio history. The VC 76, VC 2A, and VC 160 feature a modern, clean design for intuitive usability while each maintains its own unmistakable sound. Thanks to added sidechaining and parallel compression, these VINTAGE COMPRESSORS actually improve on the originals. The VINTAGE COMPRESSORS collection includes all three devices. Each compressor is also available separately. All effects run as native plug-ins in your host DAW.
