1959 is based on the Electro-Acoustic Piano patent (lifetime expired) registered in 1959. We brought it to life using spectral modeling. Sound can be described as a CP80-like but a bit more tuned due to the fewer number of strings. THE EXPERIENCE OF RECREATING A FORGOTTEN ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC PIANO PATENT. Does it sound like the original one? We don’t know, because it has never been built. And we won’t build it (by the moment:) But the experience of bringing to life an instrument that never existed, was super-exciting. The resulting sound of this virtual instrument is warm, clean and bright. The expressiveness of the piano action we emulated gives it a nice and wide range of timbres. From warm lows to metallic shines on higher velocities.

The Atlas 2 drum machine and sample manager brings new features such as a fast and powerful Drum Sequencer, Sample Variation/Humanization engine, and a new Content Browser that makes managing and recombining drum kits and sequencers easy. On top of this there are hundreds of smaller improvements to every aspect of the original Atlas. In particular the Drum Sequencer has been built from the start to be fast but flexible. The idea was to take the workflow-speed of traditional step-sequencers (like the much-loved FL-Studio one), but give it the extra flexibility of piano-roll editors when you need it. Get that idea down fast while it’s fresh. then tweak in all the little flourishes that make a beat really come alive. The new Content Browser shines once you’ve got a few beats. Easily bring in patterns or sounds from other beats, remake and remix them, and build a library that sounds like you. Sometimes you want to just sit down and jump straight into trying song ideas and Atlas is now the fastest way to do that while maintaining your own style.

PHENOME is a low-CPU 8-part multitimbral Soundfont (SF2) Player-VST Instrument with all the basic features like ADSR, multiple filters and arpeggiators. It has been designed to focus on getting things done quickly rather then being bloated with features that get hardly ever used. You select on of the eight layers of PHENOME and load any Soundfont you have into it. From there you choose the patch you want (and bank). Each layer has controls for volume, pan, muting, one of eight(!) stereo-outputs and much more… All eight soundfonts that you can load and play simultaneously can be “saved” in one setup or “multi” using your hosts FXB (Bank-Save)-feature.

The award winning PS-1 Performance Synthesizer is the result of an exciting collaboration between ProSounds and DASH Signature and has been designed with the advanced sound designer and electronic musician in mind, incorporating a large number of high-end features while still maintaining ease of use with its intuitive user interface. The PS-1 is a VST instrument plugin (VSTi) for Windows featuring four multi featured oscillators, custom WAV file import (with over 80 waveforms included!), a mixer, 2 resonant multimode filters (routable in both serial and parallel), two Low Frequency Oscillators (LFOs) and two ADSR envelope generators. The PS-1 also includes some advanced performance features, such as a powerful arpeggiator and trancegate, as well as an effects unit. The inclusion of an effects unit in the PS-1 means that where effects have been used in the sound design process they can be conveniently saved within an instrument patch with each sound for easy recall. The effects unit features four high quality effects including an ultra fat double chorus, a superb digital delay with modulation, a distortion unit, and a reverb unit.

Syflex Sylfid-f1 v1.0 WiN MAC

Sylfid-f1 is a string instrument based on Syflex’s powerful physical modeling technology. Although similar to a piano (strings, hammer, damper), the goal is not to model an existing instrument, but to create a new one. Thanks to Syflex’s fast simulation technology, the string vibrations can be computed in real-time. Sylfid doesn’t use any samples: everything is computed on the fly. This gives the freedom to change any parameter of the model, allowing to tune the instrument in many different ways, and to produce a wide variety of different sounds. For instance, it is possible to change the material the strings are made of, from plastic to metal, or adjust the shape and hardness of the hammer along with its position on the strings. All these properties can be modified on a per string basis.
