Ultra Rare Triple Synthesizer and Dual Symphonic Organ

The Affinity SK50D is a Kontakt Library Replication of the ultra-rare Yamaha SK50D dual keyboard synthesizer and symphonic organ. Produced over 40 Years ago in very few numbers, we captured every nuance of this nostalgic and unique multi-timber instrument. It includes 5 full-featured modules including a giant solo monophonic synth, a 3 oscillator polyphonic synth and string machine, a monstrously unique 3 oscillator monophonic bass synth, a 2 timber lush lower organ and an adjustable 9 drawbar style upper organ with an additional 3 timber perk layers. * 100% Analogue Captured We modeled this 100% Analogue instrument to behave like it was originally intended and worked hard to capture its aesthetic look, function, and sound. We used premium AD/DA converters and a pure signal chain to preserve an authentic sound signature. We then built each module to behave how the original instrument did not only in itself but in relation to each other. We made sure our multi patches work with a single modern midi controller and the originally intended two keyboard setup. Every parameter can be automated within Kontakt and mapped to your preferred CC preferences.

This release features live recorded sax in various keys. There are 53 licks and solos recorded either on a Yamaha YTS-23 alto sax or a Yanagisawa 990u tenor sax. These samples can fit over many styles and chord progressions ranging from a twelve bar blues to a typical pop progression. Check out the demo track which is a jazz progression. The new engine allows the importation of Vocaloid 2 and Vocaloid 3 vocals, though Vocaloid 2 vocals must have already been imported into Vocaloid 3 for this to work. The new engine includes other features, but not all of them are accessible by Vocaloid 2 and Vocaloid 3 vocals. One of the new features is a “Growl” feature which allows vocals built for Vocaloid 4 to take on a growl-like property in their singing results. Cross-synthesis was also added, allowing the user to switch between two of a character’s vocals built for the same language smoothly using a time-varying parameter. This feature is accessible by Vocaloid 3 and Vocaloid 4 vocals, but not Vocaloid 2. Another feature included is Pitch Rendering, which all imported vocals can use. This displays the effective pitch curve on the user interface. Finally, real-time input has been included in this version and is another feature which all vocals can use.
