Improve the quality of your headphones, simulate a wide variety of brands and models, or customize your own headphone sound with TB Morphit. Every headphone has its own, characteristic sound. Did you ever consider how the specific sonic attributes of your cans change your mixing results? Do you ever wonder how your mix would sound on different headphones? Virtually every existing headphone introduces unwanted changes to the audio. TB Morphit helps to reduce these unwanted artifacts by improving the response of supported headphones. Moreover, it can simulate the sound of any of the other supported headphones. Hear how your mix translates from one set to another. Monitor how your mix will sound for your audience. This is especially important since several market studies have indicated that the majority of audio content is actually consumed over headphones. For this purpose, Morphit does not only include studio headphones, but also includes stock ear buds.
Booming bassdrums, saucy cymbals and crispy snares can be used to describe the sound of drum machines from the early 80’s. ADM contains three classic vintage drum machines from that era rolled into one, combined with a 32-step internal sequencer and pattern controlled fx (PCF). Get all your patterns into ADM via the Import Rebirth function or directly from your old 909 via sysex (we will provide a free tool for dumping sysex).
mvMeter is a multivariable meter including RMS, EBUR128, VU and PPM measurement.
Impress is a wideband stereo compressor including side-chaining, various prefilter options and state-of-the-art over sampling. The goal of the design was to cover a broad range of compression applications in today’s mixing and mastering situations with strong focus on low aliasing. So, Impress could be used to shape subtle a snare sound, glue different tracks on instrument bus and even do complex tasks like deessing or voice over’s.
CS-3301 is a channel strip plugin with gate, EQs, compressor, saturation and oversampling. The (noise) gate suppresses noise or any other signal below a certain level. CS-3301 comes with 7 independent filter shaping the sound accurately. The compressor controls the dynamics of the signal. The VU meter monitors level of input/output signal and gain reduction of the compressor.
AB_LM is a gain control which enables level matched and sample accurate AB comparison of FX chains. Plugin (FX) or even a complex FX chain to the sound. Most DAWs can easily enable/disable (AB) single plugins or even whole FX chains, but in most case there is an audible loudness difference between both cases. In order to compare the impact of a plugin chain objectively the loudness of the incoming signal should match with the loudness of outgoing signal. Comparing the plugin effect at equal loudness levels avoids the “louder is better” – pitfall.
