Regal Rhythm is a very simple drum box with a typical vintage analogue sound. The six on-board preset rhythms cover the kind of staples you’d expect from more of a home-orientated (rather than studio grade) piece of kit, and there’s a slightly fuzzy, soft-edged tone to the whole thing that can work very nicely for chillout, downtempo tracks. It also comes in a neat royal red colour scheme that should cheer up anyone’s morning – and check out that real wood veneer ???? The sounds are limited but solid: kick drum, plus two flavours of snare, as well as the combinable presets (which of course tempo-sync to your host DAW). Saturation, compression and bit-crusher controls let you have a bit of extra fun with the tone.

Longs, Shorts, Phrases and Accents

The Bosque Piano is a very old upright piano we discovered in a 100 year old college auditorium found in Bosque County Texas. Both the space itself and the piano had such amazing tones it was just begging to be sampled, so we did. This library contains multisampled longs, multisampled shorts (hard and soft) and a slew of cinematic phrases and accents which ooze scores from the late 1960s and 1970s by composers such as Jerry Goldsmith and David Shire. To keep things as lightweight as possible within your DAW the instrument has a very small footprint and only contains the four patches listed above to keep things as user friendly, useable, instantly inspiring, and simple as possible.

Expressive Hammand L100 with Leslie

The organ used for this project is a Hammond L100 with a great Leslie. For a full sound the keyboard was sampled with all the bars at maximum level and the microphones not to close to the cabinet to get some air into the sound. Both speeds of the Leslie were recorded. You can almost smell the engines at work…

Analog Modeled Italian Magnetic Echo Plugin. VST, AU and AAX.

Echoes T7E is a faithful recreation of a vintage tube magnetic echo made in Italy in the early ‘60s. This echo effect unit is based on a magnetic spinning drum with both record and playback heads arranged around a recording wire wound around the drum circumference. This solution provides better stability over the usual tape transport with reduced wow and flutter. Since the main “core” of this effect is based on the above mechanism, we modelled both the mechanics and the electronics. Echoes T7E also provides 3 different playback modes allowing you to set different spinning speed or ever synchronize it to your host tempo extending the original delay length from ~310ms up to ~1100ms.
