(My beat tape series is called: Over the years, I have talked about why releasing a beat tape brings way bigger benefits than releasing single beats. A beat tape will take your productions to the next level because it forces you to complete a big project. Just think about the amount of practice you’d obtain through the process! The term “Tape Loop” was coined and has remained still somewhat of an enigma 40 years later. ’Tape Loops: Textures and Effects’ with composers like Riley and Reich in mind, tailored to the innovative composer/producer who thinks outside the box.
