This library was recorded 24 bit at 48000Khz with four mic positions (Close, Main, Rigs and Room) in a wonderful sounding hall. The range of articulations is listed inside. Boasting a huge range of articulations and techniques, and a fully revamped realistic legato script, with four fantastic mic positions, Close, Main (conductor position), Rigs, and Room. VSL English Horn – Symphonic Cube Complete NCW

Completely ripped Symphonic Cube .gig files. The idea was simple; since the .gig files contained grouped patches, I decided to turn individual .gig files into Kontakt patches and patches inside the .gig files into keyswitches. The naming was kept original – if the .gig file was named EH_LONG-NOTES now the patch is called that and the GUI is displaying the original names of the patches from that .gig file now serving as keyswitches. Completely ripped is an exaggeration, because the keyswitches would have been too wide had I ripped everything inside – the release samples had to be sacrificed as well as all combinations in order to keep the keyswitches in order. The naming conventions can be explored in the manual. The patches are using Nils Liberg’s Xfade script (not provided here) which is disabled by default. Also prebuffer size is set to 6kB as this was meant for SSDs.

The Modern Symphonic Orchestra offers a comprehensive collection of over 10GB (five DVDs) of the finest string, brass, woodwind, and percussion samples – all meticulously sampled for just the right expressiveness in each recorded note to convey a truly realistic feel. The library has been set up so that the instrumental sounds of the orchestra are laid out based on a live performance setup from the Baroque era. While there are many ways to set up an orchestra on stage, in working with orchestral samples, this pre-panned Baroque-style setup works the best to give you the most realistic sound possible. Programmed specifically for the powerful Emulator X/Proteus X sound engine, each of the Modern Symphonic Orchestra’s presets is mapped to the MIDI real-time controllers for enhanced expression. The pitch wheel and modulation wheel, and other continuous controllers create various performance effects such as: bend-up/ down, voice switching, chorus, or layer crossfade.
