Beat-Slicing VSTi plug-in

MicroDicer is our new PC VSTi beatslicer,. In MicroDicer we have tried to create simple, easy to use and inexpensive slicing program. With MicroDicer you can drag a wav or rex/rex2 sample in, this will be automatically sliced and assigned to midi notes. You can then drag from MicroDicer into your host and the midi settings for the slices will be automatically exported into your host.

Largo is the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. Largo mirrors the technology used in Blofeld and Q hardware synthesizers. As with every Waldorf instrument, ergonomics are a core feature on screen as well. These oscillators include models of classic analog waveforms as well as a selection of waves from the PPG and Waldorf Wave stored in two Wavetables. All these run through two Waldorf multi-mode filters with steep cut-off, resonance up to self-oscillation and a drive stage to add even more punch and graininess to the sound. Ultra-fast envelope generators and flexible LFOs as well as an easy to understand, yet extremely versatile modulation matrix make for a sound designer’s dream.

If you are out of ideas the random function on the groove adjust and CV step sequencer is a great help. The Groove & Phrase Synth has got the analog sound you might expect from a expensive virtual analog synth, and has got a Sounfont Oscillator so you can load your own (created) banks for that hybrid sound.

Sawer is a vintage modelling synthesizer, that cuts through the mix to deliver precisely articulated and punchy sounds.
Sawer pays homage to the envelopes and filters of a rare 1980’s Soviet analog synthesizer, Polivoks. Maxx has devoted meticulous attention to the detail of Sawer’s filter and envelope designs, ensuring Sawer delivers a unique sonic character reminiscent of the Polivoks hardware. But Polivoks, like all analog synthesizers, wasn’t without its problems. Keeping the oscillators stable and in tune has been likened to ‘moving a pile of live frogs, by wheelbarrow’, impossible! As Sawer is algorithmic, this solves the problems of tuning and stability, however, in the same way electrical component instability makes analog gear unique (if not cranky), Sawer benefits from the 21st century equivalent, a coding error.While programming the SAW oscillator, Maxx accidentally set some incorrect variables and immediately the sound gained bass, acquired some light but pleasing noise on the attack and an overall richer sonic spectra. Maxx realized this was no mistake but a discovery and built on this, adding some frequency modulation to give it a touch of analog authenticity and so ‘Sawer’ was born.

Lemonstrum 3 is quite different from most acoustic guitar strummers. Unlike previous versions, this one is primarily a chord sample player. Each of the 12 keys on the keyboard (A-G#) triggers the chord you assign to it. You can load up to three samples (different strokes) of the same chord for each trigger, which Lemonstrum will then play alternately whenever you press the key. A light press will play a scratch effect. It is pre-loaded with power chords or “fifths,” which blend well with both major and minor chords. You can also mic your own guitar and record three downstrokes of the chord that you want and load them into Lemonstrum 3.
