Microrgan is a vintage 49-key electric reed organ built in the 1950s by the Italian electronics company Farfisa. Rare and highly sought-after, the origins of this classic instrument are shrouded in mystery and our particular keyboard has seen more than its fair share of wear and tear over the years, although it still sounds good as new thanks to its rugged mechanics and simple design. We’ve captured it’s warm, humble and yet full-bodied tone with infinite sustains and tight staccatos. But to take this far beyond an ordinary reed organ sample library, we’ve also created 20 awesome sound-designed custom synth and special effect presets and 40 unique sound-designed ambiences that can be played chromatically as atmospheric synths, dronescapes and pads or used directly in your DAW for underscoring and texture.
The Leeds Town Hall Organ is a stunning reincarnation of a beautiful, historic organ that resides in the town hall of the City of Leeds, UK. Captured with a super wide stereo image, you can almost hear the room breathing as the huge tones swirl and interact around the hall. The instrument features 6 sounds crafted by Dr Simon Lindley, the hall’s resident organist, each with a wildly different timbre, from deep and brooding to shocking and dramatic. Try layering with strings and synths to create an extraordinarily deep sound, or use on its own for earth shattering solos. The original instrument towers over 50 feet high, with ladders and platforms over multiple floors that enable you to climb up inside the instrument and view its internal steel pipes. Hydraulic engines fill the pipes with air, which resonates through the steel tubes and is blasted out through the hall. The software instrument simply aims to serve the colossal sound created by the original organ and bring this incredible instrument to the people of Noiiz.
Opus is a highly detailed re-creation of the celebrated Moog brass, organ and string machine. Just like on the original, each layer is programmed separately, bringing a unique, lifelike emulation of the Opus in Kontakt Instrument and Logic library formats. Beyond the 3 part stereo mixer of the original, Deeply programmed combinations and stacks. This collection includes twisting, evolving textures, analog techno basses, science fiction effects and more. The Opus sounds can be used as synth brass and string sections, plus they have a rich analog texture that complements a variety of musical styles.
