We’ll walk step by step through setting up your project, creating a multi track for your mix and looking at some areas for discussion when approaching a mix for a client or a personal project. With the availability of home studio equipment on the rise and studios now coming in the format of a 13″ laptop we wanted to share some key pieces of information to help people get the most out of using logic for production. The knowledge used in this course isn’t just useful for mixing but is transferrable to many uses when using Logic. The course is made up of a series of short to the point video’s to guide you through each technique, there is a folder of audio for you to have a go mixing your self and some useful key commands that you can import to your set up at home.

An expertly recorded multisampled vibraphone library. Includes multiple mallet types, bowed vibes, hit variations and expressive velocity mapping. MalletPak Two is a collection of 13 multisampled vibraphone programs scrupulously recorded using a magnetic pickup and preamp to achieve a pristine tone. MalletPak Two crosses the threshold between acoustic and electronic sounds with heavily processed patches that modulate between bowing articulations and more conventional multi-mallet strikes. Four different mallet types were used with multiple hits for round-robin triggering with several velocity layers each. A bowed recording for each vibe creates an ethereal patch with infinite sustain while a hybrid patch combining mallet strikes with the bowed samples allows you to mix between articulations. MalletPak Two include a massive “All-Mallet” program that includes all 4 mallet types for easy switching. Additionally, there are several electrified patches using the vibraphone as a sound source to create fantastic new instruments.
