The ships piano is no Blüthner or Steinway, and there’s no chance of extracting rich sonorous tones from this fella …but its charming simplicity has lots and lots of useful character. Its very plinky without being too plonky….if you know what I mean. I’ve meticulously sampled every usable white note binaurally with 4 and sometimes 5 velocity layers for 155mb of 16bit samples. The MK2 version includes many extra Kontakt features including the “Satie-anator” which is best explained in the video below. MK2 version will only work on full Kontakt 4 and above.

The Resonator is a unique sound, reminiscent of pioneering, pre-1950, electronic instruments like the Ondioline and the Theremin. Unlike those strictly monophonic instruments, this Kontakt Kit has, in addition to the melody oscillator, a set of “resonators”, which produce an ever-shifting set of drone voices, sort of like the oscillator version of sympathetic resonator strings on a sitar or a viola d’amore. It works like this: You play a melody with the right hand, and hold down a chord with the left. As you are playing the melody, different notes of the chord will be brought out as they resonate with whatever melody notes you are holding in the left hand. All this is accomplished with a custom script for Kontakt, not available anywhere else – its like a dedicated VST instrument. The result is a rich texture that constantly shifts with different notes coming to the fore, all in a gorgeous space provided by the Kontakt convolution reverb.

Section B was designed to be a huge improvement on Cinematic Rhythms with the quality of sounds and the amount of samples per instrument for less pitch shifting and more realism.  Section B KONTAKT Library. Rhythmic aspect similar to Cinematic Rhythms. A lot of the library is very rhythmical, including sequencers, pulses, arps and etc… As we have created some very useful custom Synths, the rhythmic patches are also very useful for the Hybrid/Cinematic genres of composition. We have also included many patches which can be used by the composer in a lot of other different styles making sure the sounds you can use fit into varies of styles instead of 2.  We have also been kind enough to include 2 bonus categories of sounds like our Cinematic Rhythms called ‘Bonus FX’ and ‘Hybrid Grooves’ These FX and loops are sampled and processed to fit the Hybrid/Sound design genre which we mainly focused this library to influence the composers in the Film/Game industry…
