    Voice of Sirens KONTAKT

    AUDIOSTRiKE | 20/04/2015 | 138 MB

The VOS is based on antique myths and legends of dangerous yet beautiful creatures called Sirens, which lured sailors with their enchanting voices to shipwreck on a rocky coast of their island. We created an innovative instrument based on a woman voice, which will enhance your production for soundtracks, trailers, video games, IDM or any other genre. “It`s like having a singer right in your computer!”

    Kalimba v2.0 KONTAKT

    AUDIOSTRiKE | 15/04/2015 | 1.19 GB

The Kalimba is a modernized version of the ancient African Mbira, also often called a thumb piano. It has a humble, melodious percussive plucking sound with a marimba-like warmth and tonal body. It is often used in conjunction with pianos and other tuned percussion instruments to add a sharper attack and playfulness to the sound. Our instruments were made of wood and coconut shell, with hammered steel tines suspended over their sound holes. The notes span about an octave and a half for the smaller of our two instruments and over two octaves for the larger kalimba. We recorded kalimbas in 3 different environments: Close and Dry in our studio; at medium distance in a small bright chamber; and in a large, long linear hall, at both close (1 meter) and far (15 meters) microphone distances. We call the space “The Bunker”, because that’s exactly what it really is – a deep underground World War 1-era artillery bunker. You can also shape the room decay time easily with integrated Release control, turning the massive hall into a tight room with the twist of a knob. Each tine was sampled with up to 11 dynamic velocity layers with up to 10X round-robin variations each to give these instruments a truly life-like sound and playability.

    KONTAKT Scripting Lesson 2 TUTORiAL

    SYNTHiC4TE | April 15 2015 | 814 MB

Following on from lesson 1  show you some more Kontakt scripting tips, tricks, and techniques. You should now be familiar with the basics of Kontakt scripting so in this lesson we’re going to get a little more advanced. Each lesson in this series is standalone (there is a little bit of overlap) you don’t need to have seen any of the others to be able to follow along, although as you progress from lesson one to four it is expected that your base level of knowledge regarding Kontakt scripting is higher. All the lessons are in the form of a practical exercise, taking you from start to finish in the creation of a Kontakt sample library. It is expected in this lesson that you understand the fundamentals of Kontakt scripting; you should be familiar with the basic callbacks and have a good grasp of variables, operators, control statements and loops. There are over four and half hours of video in this lesson and the instrument we will build in that time is a synthesiser sample library.

    Hammer-On KONTAKT

    AUDIOSTRiKE | 10/04/2015 | 42 MB

The Hammer-On technique is usually utilized to bridge notes together… or for killer solos. For this library it is the sole articulation used and played on a stratocaster which has been cleanly recorded and multisampled. There are no loops here (save for one temposynced patch), each patch contains multisamples. As this sort of play style is normally not showcased, this instrument has a very unique sound and timbre not found anywhere else. Consisting of 13 patches, Hammer-On can sound soft and sweet, creepy, or up tension in an action scene. If you play in the higher ranges it can even sound ethnic, similar to a dulcimer. The GUI (or “unearthed verbamp 80”) has controls for EQ (bass, mid, hi), reverb (a huge hall convolution reverb), and attack. The attack and EQ knobs can drastically alter the sound and vibe of each patch. Hammer-On is NOT your average guitar library. Yes, it does contain multisampled electric guitar patches, but it is aimed more squarely at cinematic and video game scores than producing authentic rock ballads. Soft, sweet, deadly… those are the words that come to mind here.
