Woodchester Piano A beautifully expressive felted upright piano, recorded in a dry and intimate space to capture every nuance and detail — crafted in collaboration with composer James Everingham. Woodchester Piano is the debut release in our Signature Collection, a series of libraries created in collaboration with composers and musicians, each focusing on a distinct set of sounds from their palettes. This piano belongs to James Everingham, who played a key role in shaping the library into a key ingredient of his composing template. Every detail has been meticulously captured, from the softest dynamics to hammer and key noises, even down to the intimate creaks of the piano player, all of which can be controlled directly from the interface. Complementing these detailed controls are 11 Atmosphere Layers, designed by the Fracture Sounds team. These layers, crafted from processed raw samples and beyond, elevate the library into an inspiring and immersive instrument, an essential starting point for any composer or songwriter.

The Handpan is a modern percussion instrument, inspired by the physical properties of the Trinidadian steelpan, Indian ghatam, Thai gong, and Indonesian Gamelan. For its harmonics and its tone, the handpan is a both relaxing and creative instrument, that can give a unique sound to your music. It comes with 20 Creative Layers, from Analog Synths and Acoustic Instruments, that deeply expand the possibilities of the library. Handpan turns out to be a very useful and ready-to-go tool for cinematic composing,modern music production as well as classic and detailed Handpan sound.

We are excited to present our new Book Series product: Chalumeau, with True Legato articulation and a unique warm and folk tone. “The chalumeau is a single-reed woodwind instrument of the late baroque and early classical eras. The chalumeau is a folk instrument that is the predecessor to the modern-day clarinet.” The instrument we used was handmade by the great artisan and flute maker Max Brumerg with Cherry Tree Wood. We sampled Vibrato and Non Vibrato Legato, Staccato and more than 50 phrases.
