Welcome to our new Claire Virtuoso Woodwind series produced by Emmy Nominated Composer, Colin O’Malley. The Claire Woodwind Series is a deep-sampled collection of the finest virtuoso woodwind soloists ever sampled. These are highly playable instruments soared with true emotion, effortless and equilibristic behavior. The first release in the Claire Series is our Clarinet Virtuoso – the most expressive, playable and lifelike Clarinet ever sampled. The Clarinet Virtuoso was recorded in a symphonic hall and contains three microphone positions (Close, Decca, Far).

The Mercury Symphonic Boychoir. We took all of what we learned in the development of our Olympic Symphonic Choirs — Mars and Venus — and designed our most powerful yet easy-to-use choir library yet. There is a special sound to a traditional English boy’s choral ensemble — solemn lows, angelic highs and an overwhelming innocence that harkens back to the days of youth and purity. With Mercury, we managed to capture this unique quality as we painstakingly sampled a full boy’s choral ensemble (ages 8-13) in the same large crystal-clear hall in which we recorded our Olympus choirs.

ROGUE is a simple yet very effective fff-dynamic solo trumpet library, played by master trumpeter Peter Makedonski, first chair of Sofia Session Orchestra and Bulgarian Radio Orchestra. ROGUE fills a gap in the market of orchestral instruments as a dry, flexible and screaming trumpet, capable of accenting and boosting orchestral arrangements (as well as jazz material, where the molto vibrato can come in handy). The miking of ROGUE is a mix of room mikes and a spot mike, which gives it a present, yet roomy tone. The trumpet is also recorded in position (a bit to the right). These two factors allow Rogue to be placed into an orchestral mix and environment with great ease, while the faux dynamics (lo-pass plus mod wheel filter) allow you to give the illusions of dynamics within the context of a musical piece.

PIZZICATO STRING ENSEMBLE TICKLE is a sample library of a pizzicato string ensemble. It was recorded in “Druzhba” hall in Sofia, Bulgaria by Plamen Penchev and edited and programmed by Alexander Koev.The library has only one patch (Tickle.nki) and is not divided into instrument secitions. There are 31 musicians in the string orchestra – 10 first violins, 8 second violins, 6 violas, 4 violoncelli and 3 basses (two of them are five-stringed).

Welcome to Acoustic Saz library! Acoustic Saz is a truly, deeply sampled 5-string acoustic saz baglâma library for Kontakt with a huge range of extended content, an innovative new custom interface and cutting-edge powerful performance features. This beautiful fretless Saz was procured directly from the streets of Turkey, where master craftsman have been building them by hand for centuries. We painstakingly sampled all three “runs” of strings (low octave, middle single and high unison) with a massive 12x round robin and up to 6 velocity layers for open notes on an octave and a half per string. Continuing the depth are palm mutes, string chokes, release samples and a slew of percussive effects all at 12x round robin with multiple velocity layers.

“Drum Room: Dubstep Kicks” is a sophisticated audio design tool (for Kontakt), aimed at providing the end-user with the tools to design and use completely unique drum sounds. Any two of the included drum sounds can be mixed, re-pitched and manipulated using the included three-band EQ, Transient Designer, Compressor and two separate convolution effects. The convolution effects come with a wide range of reverbs and a number of special effects to tweak your drum sound.

‘Thunder’ is a Kontakt-based sample library, capturing the dry and punchy sound of eight percussionists playing on a wide assortment of large, Cinematic percussion. Eight of Bulgaria’s finest percussionists, musicians from the Sofia Session Orchestra were recorded in a small, dry and punchy room with two mic positions (close and room) built into an intuitive mic mixer. The result is one of the finest percussion collections.
