Vintage Electric RnB is an homage to the great electronic soul and R&B dance music of the mid 80s with tempo ranging from 80bpm to 115bpm. It was created by the musical genius that is Davor Devcic. Davor has produced some of our best-selling libraries such as Classic Disco, Satin Grooves and Brazil Chillout and has again pulled out all the stops here. 1GB of material and 440 samples are included in 22 construction kits. Vintage Electric RnB takes inspiration from the gigantic names, huge and electrifying sound and big songs of the mid-and-late 80s, the era of massive electric funk and soul hits by Jam & Lewis, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Alexander O’Neal, etc. when there was a fascination with rhythm machines, analog and digital synths, energetic rhythms and lush harmonies. Each kit has been painstakingly created using real instruments from the era to give all the sounds that authentic vintage feel. Each song, although amazingly reminiscent of the sounds of the time, is a totally original creation that stands up on its own as a work of art. This is a truly inspirational library.
Electric Harpsichord – Harpsichord preset from the Farfisa 110pro 1970’s portable organ. With 5 token presets, this isn’t designed as a synth, like Tronto for example, but as a player, with a virtual tape machine running all the time beneath the engine. You have 3 types of control (via the ‘Degrader’) over tape damage – via filter,amplitude or pitch, with a tape speed slider as well, so Boards of Canada style sounds are easily obtainable, or you can set the controls to zero to bypass the effect. There is a simple low pass filter (no resonance) that can be connected to velocity (as can amplitude) for instrumental expression, but also more interestingly is hard wired to the ADSR envelopes, so a slower attack also brings about a slower filter attack (if engaged), to emulate the tape head coming into contact with the tape (likewise with the release).

Recreated by spectral modeling, offering 20 studio-quality Digital Pianos in just 35MB. NO FM, NO SAMPLES. AN ADDITIVE APPROACH: Glassy was built using spectral modeling. In some way it’s related with additive synthesis method. We used spectral models to recreate famous sounds and to introduce new ones. With a detailed control of the harmonics over the keyboard range.

The library is based on 45 electric guitar samples with tempo and key information. Each phrase is usually between 2 and 4 bars long plus a separate end. All phrases are played on the same harmony pattern and can be easily combined with each other. This makes it easy to create a complete song arrangement. The genres range from pop, r&b, rock to chill out.
