The Mothman 2000 is a very unique VSTi for windows that seamlessly combines 3 forms of synthesis to create a truly unique sounding and easy to use software synthesizer. There are two main oscillators, the first is a standard waveform generator that has sine, saw, ramp, triangle, pulse, white noise, and pink noise. The other is a phase distortion oscillator, a technology pioneered by Casio in the 1980s for their unique CZ series of synthesizers that contains two separate waveform generators that each produce saw, square, pulse, double sine, saw-pulse and three resonant waveforms. There are VCFs on each oscillator and VCF1 features a dedicated ADSR section. The LFOs are what truly makes this synth unique, because the are actually LFO/HFOs, low and high frequency. The first is connected to the Amp section of OSC1 and the second to the pitch of OSC2. At low oscillation settings they can be use for traditional LFO FX, yet at HFO settings they function as FM operators that can totally change the sound.

Ever wish your digital recordings sounded more….analog? We designed Extreme Punch to do just that. Analog tape gets its appealing sound from tape saturation. Tape saturation is the result of the magnetic partials in analog tape getting 100% magnetically charged. The result is an aesthetic density that has the “classic” sound that analog tape has since become known for. Extreme Punch emulates tape compression and warms up digital signals. ExTreme Punch 2 is specifically designed to emulate the sound of tape saturation. Tape saturation occurs when the magnetic particles on analog tape become completely saturated. The result is a type of very fat compression which many producers believe sounds rounder and more dense than mechanical compression. Tape saturation is what gave analog recording the warm and fat characteristics it was know for. ExTreme Punch is simple to use and was designed for thickening low frequency tracks such as bass guitar and bass drum.

bassbomb is a monophonic bass synthesizer focused on creating a wide range of bass sounds from punchy to chunky via squelchy and fat with a sprinkling of dirt on top. It does everything from dubstep wobble, electro house dirt, funky bounce, breakbeat dirt, hip hop boom, acid squelch and more besides. As well as bass lines it’s also happy banging out kick drums and bass drops, with a pure sine sub osc to really nail that low end. It features custom waveforms, a composite filter and non-linear envelopes to give that old school synth sound, with 2 LFOs and 3 envelopes to really make stuff move around. Unison, oscillator sync, ring modulation and dirt all add to the flavour and a tempo-sync arpeggiator is the “cherry on top”.
