FatZu Analog Tape Emulator is a modern digitally controlled analog device that offers many of the “musical non-linearities” exhibited by the older tube, class A discrete, and magnetic tape mediums. The unit has several compressor “types” with fixed attacks and releases. The unis has been enhanced for better sound characteristics.
The Vintage Channel Strip consists of three plug-ins, reproducing the sound characteristics of classic 1970’s EQ and compressor devices. The Vintage Open Deck is a four-in-one tape saturation plug-in, that brings back the rich sound of legendary open-reel tape recorders. The Vintage Stomp Pack includes five ultra-realistic emulations of sought-after vintage guitar effects.
Tape Mafia is a plugin that will add analogue quality cassette tape in the form of magnetic and vinyl noise effect as well as other effects to each of your production. In our plugin we have placed 10 unique recorded in our professional studio noises of a cassette tape and a vinyl record. These noises only start when any sound goes through the plug, so you avoid the problem of turning off the plug when you do not listen to your bit. Tape Mafia also has a set of effects that will only intensify the retro effect. There you will find the effect that we called DROPS which will make the incoming signal randomly muted to emulate the missing information on the vinyl. The TAPE effect will add interesting artifacts that you can control using three parameters. LO-Fi will make your melodies become digitally imperfect. This effect will allow you to change your sounds into a GameBoy-like atmosphere. FILTROUS adds an interesting filter effect that will give the old sound to modern melodies. In addition to these functions, you also have access to a low- and high-pass filter as well as functions such as saturation, sound width control or volume up if it is too quiet.
Analog tape has a smoothing effect and adds weight and glue to a mix – it turns the recording from a collection of individual tracks into a song, where everything is connected and works together. Tape, with its component-level and physical modeling of three different tape machines, gives you all the warm vintage cohesion you could want in one plug-in. Add a few premium level features, like the mastering grade high shelf filter, stability control, and wet/dry mix knob, and you’ve got a new secret sauce. Mmm… tasty!
The Echobandit Plug-ins Pedal and Rack are modeled after the original Echobandit by F-Pedals, the combination of both Gold and Silver edition withs some extra features. The Echobandit original pedal is in the list of “must have mini pedals” made by sound guru Pete Thorn. Both Pedal and Rack version of the Plug-in include a FILTER knob control that allows a sound range from the Gold to the Silver version of the original pedal and everything in between. It will cover an incredible wide range of sounds from awesome classic slap back to experimental modern long distorted sounds. It can be warm and smooth or aggressive and punchy to cover all your possible soundscapes needs.
