X-Files of Synths Volume 1 is the first release in a new hardware-centric series of soundsets for Xfer Serum 2, all focusing on a specific sound or manufacturer. For the first volume we are focusing on the intriguing sounds of the competent sound of the Behringer Mini synthesizers: JT Mini (Roland Jupiter) and the JT-4000 (Roland JP-8000). To complete the circle of cloned Rolands we also included drums & percussion from the Behringer 909 / RD-9. “small synths with big sounds. here we take the behringer minis and expand them into behringer mega-evolutions.” The JT Mini & JT-4000 were sampled and looped with a careful selection from the basic waveforms & the most popular tones, to total craziness with randomness and experimental places where the limitations of the synth sonically starts to fall apart. The presets in the soundset were designed for three distinct types of sounds: old analog vintage, modern edm & pop, and atmospheric ambient.

Crafted 5 Chillout / Ambient song ideas featuring WAV loops and MIDI files. Each consist of 9 tracks, mostly of hamonic character, a few percussive. All tracks come as MIDI files as well so you could exchange the sounds, if you wish to. However all content is royalty free and can be published in any form (except sample libraries). Arpeggios have been used a lot here so any synth arps go along well with this pack, if you want to change the sounds. Another tip for individualizing would be to ad more rhythmic elements and drums.
