PHENOME is a low-CPU 8-part multitimbral Soundfont (SF2) Player-VST Instrument with all the basic features like ADSR, multiple filters and arpeggiators. It has been designed to focus on getting things done quickly rather then being bloated with features that get hardly ever used. You select on of the eight layers of PHENOME and load any Soundfont you have into it. From there you choose the patch you want (and bank). Each layer has controls for volume, pan, muting, one of eight(!) stereo-outputs and much more… All eight soundfonts that you can load and play simultaneously can be “saved” in one setup or “multi” using your hosts FXB (Bank-Save)-feature.
The award winning PS-1 Performance Synthesizer is the result of an exciting collaboration between ProSounds and DASH Signature and has been designed with the advanced sound designer and electronic musician in mind, incorporating a large number of high-end features while still maintaining ease of use with its intuitive user interface. The PS-1 is a VST instrument plugin (VSTi) for Windows featuring four multi featured oscillators, custom WAV file import (with over 80 waveforms included!), a mixer, 2 resonant multimode filters (routable in both serial and parallel), two Low Frequency Oscillators (LFOs) and two ADSR envelope generators. The PS-1 also includes some advanced performance features, such as a powerful arpeggiator and trancegate, as well as an effects unit. The inclusion of an effects unit in the PS-1 means that where effects have been used in the sound design process they can be conveniently saved within an instrument patch with each sound for easy recall. The effects unit features four high quality effects including an ultra fat double chorus, a superb digital delay with modulation, a distortion unit, and a reverb unit.
Sylfid-f1 is a string instrument based on Syflex’s powerful physical modeling technology. Although similar to a piano (strings, hammer, damper), the goal is not to model an existing instrument, but to create a new one. Thanks to Syflex’s fast simulation technology, the string vibrations can be computed in real-time. Sylfid doesn’t use any samples: everything is computed on the fly. This gives the freedom to change any parameter of the model, allowing to tune the instrument in many different ways, and to produce a wide variety of different sounds. For instance, it is possible to change the material the strings are made of, from plastic to metal, or adjust the shape and hardness of the hammer along with its position on the strings. All these properties can be modified on a per string basis.
Sylfid-f2 is a new physical modeling string plug-in that models a musical instrument that has two strings per note. It doesn’t use any samples: everything is computed using a fast simulation algorithm. It computes the propagation of waves on the strings, and converts them to sounds in real time. This allows creation of sounds that exhibit real-life properties like long decays, without any samples, no loops and no reverb. The material of the strings can be changed continuously from metal to plastic. The plug-in is based on the same technology as Sylfid-f1, but is less complex to tune. For example the strings material cannot be changed on a per string basis and the hammer position is fixed.
Originally part of the first Korg Legacy Collection and later the Korg Legacy Collection: Analog Edition 2007; the MS-20 is now available individually. As the original manufacturer, Korg is uniquely qualified to recreate our vintage analog synthesizers as software instruments. Magesy Korg’s proprietary Component Modeling Technology (CMT) recreates the original circuit path and analog signal flow, to provide results that are completely faithful to the original hardware. The MS-20 is designed to run as a stand-alone program; or as a VST, AU or RTAS Plug-in, making it compatible with nearly any DAW software studio package. The MS-20 software synthesizer provides a complete simulation of its legendary original. In addition, it gives you modern advantages such as up to 32 voices of polyphony and up to 16-voice unison (with detune/spread function). Flexible external modulation settings and MIDI clock synchronization have also been added, giving you even greater creative potential.
Reed200 is our second spectral modeled instrument. We can say it’s all that we dreamed about. Clean and responsive timbre made out of the real Wurlitzer. Stacking up to 600 pure sinewaves, we achieved a perfect and accurate timbre reproducing the sound that a Wurli generates on the line output (Also we included a cabinet and drive emulator). As in our Markus 88, we did most of the jobs manually. Despite the deep spectrum analysis we used to decode the timbre DNA, we focused on recreating the real feel of pushing down a key in a real Wurlitzer.
