LION is an extraordinarily deep synth that features an easy-to-use interface with everything you need for quick patching, endless experimentation, and intuitive sound design. Under LION’s hood is a dual-oscillator architecture with each oscillator featuring 26 modes. These modes range from familiar classics to unique oscillators found nowhere else. Pick and choose from FM synthesis, subtractive or additive waveforms, “super” oscillator stacks, microsound, noise, or variations on each! Each algorithm has been specifically designed for deep modulation. Additionally, each oscillator engine features an optional Stereo mode, creating wide images at the synthesis level. From there, you can take advantage of LION’s deep Unison manipulation of every parameter and optional tuning Drift for rich, full, and lush sounds with just the oscillators, all before you start reaching for any external effects.

A delay plugin with a severe narcoleptic bent, Sandman uses its Sleep mode to freeze its delay buffer to create stunning loops and grains that can be re-pitched, down-sampled, played in reverse, dirtied with noise and modulated — transforming and mutating sounds beyond all recognition! Using very short delay times, the shape-shifting Sandman alternately becomes a flanger, stutter generator, wavetable synthesizer or percussion resonator. The Quinta Pitch Machine plugin is more than your standard octave in that it not only gives you notes an octave up and an octave down, but also gives you a fifth up. Each of the three intervals is dialled in proportion with its own knob, and you get a mix knob to blend dry and pitch-shifted sound, this runs from totally dry to totally pitch-shifted. The last control on your Quinta Pitch Machine plugin is the MIX control. This adjusts the balance between the natural signal coming from your instrument as you play it and the whole configuration of added octaves and fifths you have set up via the other knobs on your Quinta Pitch Machine plugin.
