I’ve been given a highly damaged and noisy vibraphone recording by a fellow sound developer. Using the power of spectral repair, I manually fixed each note to its original state giving this vibraphone sample set a rebirth, hence its name Vibraphone Renaissance. Three variations of this vibraphone have been created: the original vibraphone sound, a looped version that can be sustained, and a granular drone version perfect for soundtrack scoring.
Blue Face is an analog modeled simulation of a classic BC108 silicon vintage fuzz pedal made in the late ’60s. This is one of the best known fuzz pedals ever made, used to fully blast amplifiers tube stages. We modified the original circuit to get more bite even at minimum settings.
Big Goat is an analog modeled simulation of one of the greatest fuzzbox ever made in the mid ’70s and used in countless records. The signal passes through 4 cascaded amplifier stages, where 2 of them are clipping stages. The result is a sustained fuzz, very rich in harmonics, with a unique tone.
Rmpx4 is a multi effect processor focused on modulations. Based around three classic effects (multimode filter, pitchshifter and delay), its aim is to generate evolving variations of the input audio by crossfading between two instances of each effect and modulating their key parameters using an extensive array of control modules. 4 LFOs with optional tempo sync and 2 envelope followers can have their output inverted or combined using mixers and multipliers. BowEcho is a modular sound mangler based on 4 delay lines. It offers a large palette of sound design options thanks to 4 LFOs that can run at control or audio rate, 4 Mixers that can also act as gainers, basic filters, ringmodulators or stereo splitters, and the ability to route the output of each module the way you want. For example the LFOs can act as raw oscillators that can be used to ringmodulate the feedback path of a delay line. The delay times can be modulated over a wide range to generate noisy glitches or basic pitchshifting of the input. BowEcho is a versatile delay plugin that can adapt to your sonic needs : use it as a simple flanger with only one delay and one LFO, or go crazy and route all modules in absurd ways to produce creepy screaming drones.
