This was by far one of the most used and still today is one of the most sought after tape echo units ever made. The new GS-201 Mark II is the evolution of a project we started back in 2008 with the release of the old version of GS-201. The purpose is to capture the magic of the Space Echo and make it available to all, right there, into the computer. The snappy filter and amplifier envelopes have been meticulously modeled, as well as the massive bottom end – even the most marginal effects like temperature drift or effects originating from the power supply have been taken into account.
Pristine Peaks IE is a streamlined version of our stereo Pristine Peaks limiter that has been enhanced and optimized for multi-channel surround and “immersive audio” applications. Pristine Peaks IE, like Pristine Peaks, is an ultra-low distortion peak limiter for use in both mixing and mastering applications where the transparent peak control is required. Pristine Peaks IE can support up to 12 channels of audio for use on mono all the way up to 7.1.4 channel-based audio tracks and buses. Each channel can be level-trimmed +/-5dB pre-limiter while their peaks can be trimmed as well by as much as 10dB below the master Ceiling setting. Channel Isolate and Bypass controls are also provided to allow channel monitoring and bus separations.
