Let’s start with 16 voices of polyphony (20 with the new OS), add three VCO’s using sound modeling to re-create those classic analog sounds with digital clarity and reliability. Amazingly this synth has seven effects per voice! That adds up to 56 effects all programmable and simultaneously available on all voices at all times!!! A macho filter section with hi, low, band pass filtering at 12, 18, 24 dB/oct ranges, resonant and self oscillating, with overdrive and key tracking. For decades, the UK has been at the very forefront of producing new and innovative acts, playing a defining role in shaping the sound of electronic dance music as we know it. In this MIDI pack, we throw ourselves headfirst into its vast magnetic forcefield of monotonously trance-like, syncopated and offbeat grooves. Expect a collection of raw beat material that touches on all the signifying traits of anything from drum & bass, dubstep, jungle, garage and grime. This MIDI pack was created primarily for use with our more electronic-centric EZX and SDX expansions and, as such, may render some off-kilter instrument choices and note stacking if played back with a regular set. However, as always with MIDI, you’re in the driver’s seat – slice, dice, mix, match, move and rearrange to come up with your very own renditions. Comprising 40 “songs” and more than 350 individually created parts in tempos ranging all the way from 90 up to 185 BPM, you’ll have no shortage of options. Prepare for an eclectic collection of grooves and breaks that covers anything from the slow, pulsating and bass drum-throbbing to the energetic, bouncy and all-in wild.
The Ethereal Electronics 2 Library contains 222 high quality presets and over nearly 100MB of unique content for the beautiful Omnisphere 2 synthesizer from Spectrasonics and is suitable for any contemporary electronic and ambient music genres. It includes a well balanced assortment of presets created from scratch and spread out across a diverse category of patches, including arps, basses, leads, pads, plucks, keys, and sequences. In total, there are 209 single patches and 13 multis. A lot of the patches fuse original multi-sampled content, making this a hybrid library which contains an additional 100 MB of original wav samples and attacks embedded within the presets. Ethereal Electronics 2 Library contains exceptionally beautiful pads, lush atmospheres, and serene soundscapes that sound truly unique thanks to Omnisphere’s powerful blend of synthesis methods, granular/wavtable/va/fm/rm. These properties combined with the ability to importu unique multi-sample wav content enables Omnsiphere to be capable of some amazingly beautiful sounds. In addition, many of the patches utilize the hybrid blending of samples to the full extent, adding a tasteful organic layer or textures complimenting its live synthesis. A lot of love and appreciation also went into crafting these additional wave samples, blending as many as 5 layers of ambiences into one source. The goal was to subtlely aid the beauty and power of omnisphere’s beautiful unique sound, without ever masking it.
