Verberate Immersive 2 is a surround reverb and a 3D capable edition of Verberate 2 — our algorithmic reverb plug-in that simulates real acoustical spaces with exceptional realism. Verberate Immersive 2 replaces Verberate Surround and supports all common surround and immersive formats up to 7.1.6 channels. The new Vivid Hall algorithm adds time variance to avoid the stiffness that plagues convolution based reverbs while preserving the natural high density reverb tails of Verberate Surround 1.
The v2 update is focused mainly on modulation in our hosts with a bunch of new modulators available, along with other functionality and workflow updates which will open up new worlds of creativity. One particularly fabulous aspect of this update is that Snap Heap and Multipass now have the same modular modulation system as Phase Plant, which allows you to combine and connect as many modulators as you need. This unleashes limitless new creative possibilities for creating dynamic, evolving, responsive, or chaotic modular effects within these already super-useful Snapin Hosts.
TH-U S Edition is hands down one of the biggest features of the All Access Pass. You get OVER 100 MODELED PIECES, including 32 new amps, 39 new cabinets (including 15 OH S Exclusive), and 31 new effects pedals and modules. TH-U Slate Edition features exclusive OH impulse responses and utilizes a proprietary rig player technology, which allows users to reproduce entire rigs captured by manufacturers.
Pulsar 1178 is an audio plug-in (VST/VST3/AU/AAX) that meticulously recreates the original 1178 hardware compressor in its tonal color and compression character, while adding several additional features, turning it into a very versatile compressor for tracking and mixing. A compressor that eats transients for breakfast, the 1178 is a rare and expensive legend of the recording studio, cleaner and more versatile than its older brother, the 1176. 1178 further than the original unit, adding all the features you would expect from a modern, versatile plug-in, including a full sidechain EQ for added control, an optional saturation stage for warmth and character, and precise metering.
Smasher is an unprecedented custom modification of the classic Urei 1176 compressor circuit, a unique formula that we stumbled upon while fine-tuning other algorithms. The original 1176 compressor hardware offered a selection of four ratios, but studio engineers soon discovered that pressing them all at once led to a distorted, explosive and highly compressed sound. It’s this “All buttons in” or “British” mode that Smasher was painstakingly designed to recreate. While remaining very close to the original circuitry, the modifications we’ve built into Smasher will add definition to transients and make your tone more aggressive. We love using it to enhance the ambience in drum busses, but there are many more creative uses too. Smasher won’t work on every single track, but where it does, it works magic. Smasher excels at raw and gritty sounds, calling to mind bands like Vulfpeck, The Whitefield Brothers and The Black Keys.
Tube Saturator 2 is a super accurate circuit simulation of a tube pre-amp with analog EQ, which can be overdriven gently for warming effects, or cranked for fat distortion. Like its predecessor, Tube Saturator, TS-2 is based on circuit simulation techology to capture every nuance of an analog circuit. The circuit consisting of the individual tubes, resistors, and capacitors is converted into a mathematical system of equations which is numerically solved to produce the exact same sound as a real circuit. But while the original consumed large amounts of CPU power, TS-2 is now super efficient. The Saturation section of TS-2 runs about 7x faster than the original and yet the modelling is even more accurate. TS-2 includes the original circuit simulation of the three band Baxandall type EQ as found in many guitar amplifiers.
