LUMi (ルミ) is an upcoming VOCALOID to be developed by Akatsuki Virtual Artists for the VOCALOID4 engine. She is voiced by the Japanese voice actress Sayaka Ohara. LUMi was introduced on May 19, 2017 and was confirmed to be developed by Akatsuki Virtual Artists (AVA). A preview of her design was shown and it was revealed that she was voiced by Sayaka Ohara, a well known voice actress. A version of her VOCALOID4 voicebank was to be made available on June 3. It was later revealed that the illustrator was Miyama Hugin and an interview regarding the design was released.
Since the release of VOCALOID5 in 2018, Yamaha has been working on a new artificial vocal synthesis engine VOCALOID:AI. On October 13, 2022, Yamaha officially released the synthesis program under the product name VOCALOID6. The new VOCALOID6 includes artificial intelligence-based voice synthesis library support and compatibility with existing databases.
Haruno Sora (桜乃そら) is a Japanese VOCALOID developed by and distributed by AH-Software Co. Ltd.. She was released for the VOCALOID5 engine in July 2018. She is voiced by Kikuko Inoue (井上 喜久子; Inoue Kikuko), a Japanese voice actress and singer. Sora is a 17-year-old gentle and quiet girl. On stage as a singer, she has two different singing styles – “gentle and soft”and “cool and sharp”.
Nekomura Iroha (猫村いろは) is a Japanese VOCALOID and was created in collaboration with SANRIO and the Hello Kitty to Issho! Project. She was initially released in October 2010 for the VOCALOID2 engine. There is currently ongoing development for an upgrade to the VOCALOID4 engine. Her voice provider has never been revealed. On May 14th, 2015, AH-Software confirmed that Iroha would have a Natural and a Soft voicebank, which allows her to use Cross synthesis and she would release on June 18th, 2015. Iroha’s Natural and Soft voicebanks would be available for purchase individually or together, and a starter pack version would also be offered. Other details such as tempo, range, the prices for her packages were also revealed. It was also shown that Iroha V4 has two official MMD models by ISAO
