    Deep House Dissected TUTORiAL

    SYNTHiC4TE | May 11 2018 | 1.38 GB

Electronic music producer pro Chris Herrera puts Deep House on the operating table and dissects it right before your eyes and ears. Watch and learn how to make authentic Deep House by identifying and understanding all the elements that make up this popular electronic genre. Chris begins by welcoming you and goes over what the series will be about and plays the song you’ll be dissecting in the video series. Once you’re familiar with the material, Chris breaks down and analyzes the stems that make up the different parts of the track, and talks about which ones are working and which aren’t and why. The drum mix is next, and together you’ll put it under the microscope, revealing the importance of detailed sound design work when building a groove, and then dig deep into the classic 4 on the floor kick drum.

    Photosynthesis Vol.2 Mystic KONTAKT

    SYNTHiC4TE | Sept 26 2015 | 1.56 GB

Mystic is the second in the Photosynthesis line of Kontakt libraries, an ambient cello library aimed at film/game composers, producers, and musicians who need otherworldly pads and soundscapes, unique cello articulations, and creative instrument effects.  Mystic is derived entirely from nearly 6 hours of cello recordings, processed and twisted into over 120 beautiful Kontakt instruments. Alongside the processed instruments are raw solo cello articulations. This isn’t a standard cello library, so there’s no legato or staccato patch, but rather unique playing styles like artificial harmonics, harmonic tremolos, sustained ricochets, sul ponticello, harmonic glissandos, and more

    Photosynthesis Vol.4 Realms KONTAKT

    SYNTHiC4TE | March 06 2016 | 1.52 GB

The fourth and final Photosynthesis Kontakt library, Realms is an extensive musical toolkit of bowed metallic sounds. Recorded with rich detail, metal groans and screeches with tones ranging from terrifying to lovely. Realms encompasses a wide selection of raw bowed metal objects, stunningly alive pads, and horrific soundscapes. Realms includes seven bowed objects with a total of 41 sound “menus,” each menu comprised of many individual recordings that can be opened and transformed individually, as well as an additional set of horror-oriented “effects menus” for music in the shadows. Alongside the bowed objects are natural pads created directly from the bowed sound sources, and processed keys/pads/rhythms/soundscapes created with external mangling.

How To Make Alien Eyes TUTORiAL

    SYNTHiC4TE | May 06 2018 | 4.49 GB

How To Make ‘Alien Eyes’, his brand new-genre busting track! Hailing from LA, Matt set up the label Perfect Driver which has grown in success mainly due to his persistent drive and passion as a one-man operation, building his roster of producers and artists from the ground up. Over these 20 videos we get to see Matt’s experimental and creative mind in full flow as he builds this awesome track from scratch, creating a club smasher that could be defined as ‘Tech House’ but ultimately a tricky one to categorise! Starting with the kick, bass and signature percussive elements that he’s amassed while creating previous tracks, we move onto some truly innovative and individual synth lines before using the mac’s own speech function to provide the vocals. Once all the elements are in place we then move on to the arrangement stage using automation, space-age effects, and builds to create tension before the driving, groove-laden drops, and then check out a quick mix and master so we can export the tune ready for DJ’s to get their hands on.

    How To Use Saturn TUTORiAL

    SYNTHiC4TE | May 06 2018 | 540 MB

This week we welcome back Rory from Hyper Production for a look at awesome saturator and distortion plug-in, Saturn. This cool looking plugin has become the go-to saturator/distortion plug-in for most producers out there and it’s easy to see, and more importantly hear why. Saturn is a multiband saturation and distortion unit with a flexible modulation routing system onboard and when you begin to run audio through it, you’re shown a useful real-time audio display. Saturn starts with just one band covering the full spectrum by default but you can then easily and dynamically create new bands by placing dividers on top of the display of the incoming audio. Once you have chosen your bands, Saturn has its own set of controls to affect its section of the audio signal and allows you to pick one of its distortion engines – tube, tape, amp, saturation and experimental. However, this is just scratching the surface of this incredibly useful plugin as each band also includes EQ sliders, frequency and feedback and dynamic knobs not to mention it’s sophisticated modulation system!
