Vangelis for Omnisphere is a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest electronic composers of our time – a soundset of synth emulations and Vangelis-inspired patches created with deep respect and attention to detail. Originally released in 2022, the set has now been lovingly refined and updated for Omnisphere 3, featuring new effects, new patches, custom Velvet Verb presets, handpicked Mutations, and rebalanced sound design throughout. The soundset features 135 presets – 110 patches and 25 multis – and comes with versions for both Omnisphere 2 and 3. For a full overview of the soundset update, check out this PDF for details. Inspired by the timeless music of Vangelis, the set captures his musical journey – from the early era of L’Apocalypse des Animaux and Opera Sauvage, to the Oscar-winning Chariots of Fire and Koreyoshi Kurahara’s film Antarctica, to albums like The City, Voices, Direct, and Oceanic. And of course, it pays homage to his most iconic work: The immortal Blade Runner soundtrack.
