I’ve been given a highly damaged and noisy vibraphone recording by a fellow sound developer. Using the power of spectral repair, I manually fixed each note to its original state giving this vibraphone sample set a rebirth, hence its name Vibraphone Renaissance. Three variations of this vibraphone have been created: the original vibraphone sound, a looped version that can be sustained, and a granular drone version perfect for soundtrack scoring.

The Euphonic Strings ReFill brings you a highly playable, dynamic and beautiful-sounding string section for your Reason rack. Zampled has lovingly recorded over 6,300 24-bit samples to create the best strings you’ve ever heard in Reason. Realistic & Dynamic. The Euphonic Strings ReFill is extremely detailed. Instruments have been painstakingly sampled in 1 or 2 note increments and in multiple layers for maximum realism. Many patches feature dynamic articulations ranging from very light ‘piano’, to medium soft ‘mezzo piano’, medium loud ‘mezzo forte’, and loud ‘forte’, enabling expressive, dynamic playing from your MIDI keyboard. As well as velocity dynamics, you’ll also find ’round robin’ style patches (such as the 8 layer spiccato viola patch in the free demo combinator) where repeated notes trigger different layers of samples so each played note sounds slightly different to the last. Play fast staccato lines and it won’t sound like a machine – each note you play triggers a different sample of that particular note of the instrument so your strings sound alive and real!

These aren’t sample loops, so every patch is easily synced with your project. They are in their simplest form for maximum tweaking, you can customize any parameter, so it really fits properly in your song. I also included some -008′ Combinators to get you started on your own sound design excursions. Patches such as: -Radio Builder -Stop & Go -Stereoizer will have you building endless variations for many hot beats to come! There are also a few Combinators built from Reason’s Factory Bank, to show how to get the most out of the library you already own. The 4 .RNS Song files and the drumkit (from the audio demo) are also included.

For nearly 60 years the bright tones of the Fender Stratocaster have been the go-to electric guitar sound for thousands of guitarists. In a guitar-filled first for Reason 6, Jiggery-Pokery now presents a stunning, keyswitch-enabled Stratocaster sample set – Performance Stratocaster ReFill. Has been sampled in pristine 24-bit, to sit right alongside the Studio Combo range. Performance Stratocaster ReFill showcases a 1994 Fender Stratocaster, featuring a two-piece alder body, maple headstock with rosewood fretboard and a single-coil pick-up, for an original Strat sound. Every note of every fret was recorded at a bit depth and samplerate of 88.2khz with a direct low-noise mic-level input and then downsampled to 44.1khz.

‘Rhythmic Foley’ brings a unique selection of live recorded “found sounds” that can be used in all genres of music such as Cinematic, Ambient, Downtempo, House, World and more! All sounds were recorded at 192kHz and 24-Bit to deliver the epitome of sonic quality’ The Sound Designer for this product, Sebastian Bach, is intrigued and inspired by the rhythmical vibe of everyday-use items. He decided to capture the sounds of house-hold items, such as washing machines, cutlery, coffee makers, pots, cups, nuts, bolts and more. The live recordings of these items have been creatively twisted, mangled and edited in ways that allow them to be useable Loops and One-Shots for any genre. The gear used for recording this product was a Tascam recorder and stereo-pair of Rode microphones. While listening to the samples, you can hear different recording techniques that combine sounds in mono by the recorder and the stereo field captured by Rode microphones.
