Cycle has a visual workflow for synthesizing sound at the waveform and spectrum level. Using points and lines to design waveshapes and spectral filters, you have the power to add detail where it is needed and directly create the character of the sound you’re after. The result is a capable and productive sound design process. Part of this design philosophy is to visualize as much as possible, providing you with a graphic representation of the output signal – one that is updated in realtime whenever a change is made. With this in mind, the user interface shows different views of the signal and its spectral information. Each perspective doubles as an editor for the curve ‘wireframe’ that contributes its part of the signal processing chain. Wherever possible, Cycle sets no limits. There are unlimited points in a curve, unlimited spectral layers, waveshape layers, deformer curves, scratch envelopes, and unison voices.

Featuring 1-rack-unit interfaces that can be loaded and rearranged using up to four racks, Magma also comes with a flexible routing matrix enabling serial, parallel or combined routings. Effects categories include Dynamics, Equalizers, Pre-Amps, Distortions, Reverbs, Delays, Modulation, Sequencers, Filters, Special FX, and Guitar FX. Magma’s Virtual Studio Rack (VSR) technology enables users to stack dozens of interchangeable effects in a seemingly infinite number of combinations, all in one easy-to-use plug-in. Magma makes it easy to mix and match effects, create and recall unique chains, and process audio in unique ways. Using Magma is like having a Virtual Studio Rack with a large number of effects at your disposal.
The Quinta Pitch Machine plugin is more than your standard octave in that it not only gives you notes an octave up and an octave down, but also gives you a fifth up. Each of the three intervals is dialled in proportion with its own knob, and you get a mix knob to blend dry and pitch-shifted sound, this runs from totally dry to totally pitch-shifted.

It is an EBU & ATSC loudness meter, optimised for short program material (like commercials, leaders, bumpers, etc) and the music industry. When your program is short, you just want a clear view of the most important loudness parameters: the Integrated Program Loudness, the Short term loudness and the Momentary loudness. LevelViewS offers the clearest view of these levels, guiding you to hit the target level every time around.
