Vacuum Pro is a polyphonic analog synthesizer with vacuum tube circuit modeling that perfectly captures the crunchy, warm sound of the analog era. With four analog oscillators, multiple filters and envelopes, and built-in audio effects, Vacuum Pro lets you dive deep into subtractive synthesis to recreate those sought-after analog sounds from the 70s and 80s. Tweak the switches, knobs, and dials to program anything from basses, leads, pads, or unique sound effects. Sugar & Spice comprises 260+ sounds inspired by the stage keyboards and polyphonic synthesizers of the 80s and 90s. Although the presets focus on playability, more radical morphing is immediately available via Hive’s XY Pads (there are over 100 examples of this in the extra XY Showcase folders). Experienced keyboard players will appreciate the nuanced velocity and aftertouch response.
CH.A Trident Mk III synthesizer is a stunning virtual instrument that not only revives the multitimbral experience and sonic capabilities of the original Trident Mk I and Mk II hardware synths but also exponentially enhances them, offering an unparalleled combination of innovation and authenticity. CH.A has meticulously recreated each section of the original Trident hardware — the sweeping Synth, the bold Brass, and the stirring Strings — and enhanced the entire ensemble with additional features. The voice count has been increased to 16 for each section, and now includes velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, as well as polyphonic aftertouch. The lower panels for Keyboard, Motion (a new feature), and Effects have been significantly expanded to include a virtual studio of tools that enhance this “orchestra-in-a-box” experience like never before. These features include drag-and-drop zones and quick templates for splits and layers, a DAW-friendly 16×2 polyphonic step sequencer, and dual arpeggiators.
Syn’x 2 is a Polytimbral Synthetizer inspired for the synthesis part by a legendary Italian Synthesizer from the 80’s, while its multilayer card based architecture is inspired by sophisticated hardware analog monsters like the Oberheim Matrix 12. The Sound : It offers the striking combination of clear and punchy DCOs with cutting multimode modeled analog filters like it’s ancestor, one of the last Vintage Polyphonic Analog Synthetizers, and a piece of Synthesis history, including the famous BBD Chorus !
Unlimited polyphony, as PolyM’s model was considered when released ! Even if it was not true, compared to monophonic synthesisers of these times or to the five or eight voices machines, the 71 voices, each one with its own pulse width modulation, filter, VCA and envelope generator, was clearly a revolution. Recreating this legendary synthesiser as a virtual analog was a real challenge ! We decided to take up the gauntlet !
