Every sound was crafted meticulously by Wrecks to ensure top quality.
That’s right, we sat in the studio with some of our favourite modules and sampled them for you! As the Eurobug madness continues, we are always looking for new ideas to bring them into house and techno productions. Currently, the most interesting part of the Eurorack is the drum bits for us. The uniqueness of the percussion sounds drew our attention to specific modules and brands like Mutable Instruments, Noise Engineering and WMD. Gogodze Phu Vol I is a free open-source percussion library for Plogue Sforzando. It contains a set of five bobobo drums from Ghana, and a cajon.
Gogodze Phu Vol II is a free set of acoustic drum samples which can go from lo-fi to hi-fi. The sound is inspired by the dirty drums on Kim Jung Mi’s 1973 album “Now”, but the controls also offer the choice of greater clarity.
