MondoMelt is a lo-fi character effect designed for quickly creating tape vibes on the fly, taking the melting and tone-shaping capabilities of Echomelt3 and wrapping them up into a compact plugin that gives you instant results. Pitch instability, audio degradation, saturated crunchiness and cassette tape aesthetic are instantly available by tweaking just a few controls. Sculpt your frequencies with a simple, yet versatile, 3-band EQ. Drive the resulting signal into a pleasant saturation and apply extra shaping for wild distortion. Age your sound with a damper control for reducing the high end until you have the perfect lo-fi cassette vibe. Melt your sound with Wow, Flutter and Dropout modulation, giving your sound instant character with pitch-drifting, audio degradation, and VHS-style fluctuations. The built-in Chorus effect will turn your wobbling tape instabilities into a lush, stereo effect using only a single knob. Drive the whole effect into uncharted territory with the Mondo knob, which intensifies various aspects of the effect overall, pushing it to the limit for irregular sonic mayhem.

Hybrid electro acoustic bliss – pianos, strings, synths, tape, spiderwebs & more. DRIFT 001 goes in a different direction – simple at the front, complex behind the curtain. The business end is just 4 large knobs: Grist, ADSR, Morph and Space combine multiple functions for uncomplicated and intuitive sound design. A minimal interface beneath which lurks a maximalists desire to warp, bend and squash millions of new sounds into the aether. 4 knobs wasn’t quite enough though – BPM synced drift control adds gorgeous woozy tape like wow and flutter and BPM synced tremolo adds movement and throb. Instantly turn a wonky piano into a warped felt pad or reversed ghost Joanna. Create massive gnarly pads that can quickly be tamed to subtle gossamer. There is enough variation inside DRIFT001 and your brain to score an entire movie/game/box set/concept album/stage musical…there really is.

The original alphaSyntauri required an Apple IIe to operate, but we’ve gone ahead and eliminated the middle-man so you can have this classic digital synth in your DAW of choice. Version 3 once more modernizes the original’s tried and tested feature set. WOV is an effect for making a wide range of textures out of your sounds – from familiar tremolo waves to glitchy stutters and everything in between, WOV takes shows just how far traditional effects can be pushed. It’s easy to set up a static rate for WOV and leave things at that – but WOV has much more to offer! To the right of the Rate control, the bipolar Response knob sets the sensitivity with which WOV’s rate will either slow down or speed up depending on the volume of the incoming signal. The bipolar Variation control further introduces randomized amounts of variation to the rate – at its extremes going as far half the rate (knob to the far left) or twice the rate (knob to the far right). Lastly, the eight-step Sequencer uses a multislider to set the relative accent value for each beat of the rate. The slider adjusts between two and eight steps in length, and the R+1 button offsets the accents going to the right channel one step over from the left (note that this requires Stereo to be enabled).
