When you want fat sounds for your synths or bass you want warmth, girth, harmonics and depth. Hard to get just with plugins ain’t it? Yes saturators can get you halfway there but a combination of a distressing type preset and the UAD Fatso ™ will have you smiling in next no time. You can of course use any brand of plugins you wish.

This unit has been serviced and upgraded to give serious punch and animal power with unbelievable cleanness.
The W295A equalizer is a real vintage classic. Developed in the 1960´s it is the direct successor of the older passive W95C eQ. This eQ was the first transitorized module in the vintage german broadcast era, transformer-balanced, fully discrete 3-band in class-A quality. The 10kHz Hi-band and the 60Hz Low-band can be cut or boosted by ±15dB. The Mid band is a special tilt-eq. Today it is rare and very hard to find. The unit has been carefully refurbished and calibrated in the AlexB Laboratory before the sampling process.
The Mojo series are samplings to give you the tone of the hardware that allows for a hybrid approach . Simply put, with Eqs and compressors you can use your favourite emulation plugin to control the action and curves and just use my presets to add the much needed clarity, 3D quality, dynamics, warmth etc. It is my attempt to allow you to use your favourite plugin but to add the mojo that plugins lack.

About: Behemoth is based on a custom analog/digital chain that is intended to “clean-up” low end while mostly intensifying lower level harmonic content. Although primarily aimed at low level low-mid frequency content, subtle higher details are also brought to the forefront. The purpose here is to hopefully bring about fuller and more forward sounding program material albeit in a non-traditional sense of compression or dynamic controlling. A consequence and benefit of this psycho-acoustic processing is the saving of a dB here and there, sometimes more depending on the specific material at hand: fuller sounds at a similar output. A similar characteristic of the preset “So Transcited”.
