Multi-Channel Distortion

Subvert is a savage 3-channel distortion processor designed to decimate the frequency spectrum. Based around 5 effects; multimode distortion, FM ring modulator, digitizer, metalizer and multimode filter, Subvert generates anything from subtle harmonics to relentlessly brutal distortions. Offering three parallel channels of each effects chain as well as a wealth of modulation and routing options, Subvert is our take on signal decimation with a twist. Subvert’s multi-channel layout and per-effect bypass option make it possible to reconfigure the order of effects in each chain in a variety of creative ways. Between the unconventional routing options, 15 effects processors, global EQ, numerous modulation options and global randomizer, Subvert makes it possible to achieve mind-bending destructive effects. While Subvert’s primary focus is on Distortion, it features four additional effects that can be configured in various ways across its three channels. Driving its core are 2 envelope followers and 4 LFOs with various wave shapes and optional tempo sync, which can have their output inverted or combined using up to 4 modulation mixers. The final output of the plugin can be sculpted with the global 3-band EQ.

Discord4 is the latest version of our most popular and long-lived product, our Discord stereo pitch shifter. Originally modeled from the H910, Discord has long since become its own effect and a studio standby, and this version includes major additions to further stretch its capabilities. The pitch-shifter consists of three separate algorithms: a “vintage” mode (the original Discord algorithm, modeled on the Eventide H910 and H949), a “clean” mode for more modern shifting sounds, and a “granular” mode for experimental effects. Each mode has its strengths, depending on the input material, and Discord3 has a broad palette of capabilities as a result. The P1 and P2 algorithms have full control over the buffer (window) size of the shift effect, for fine tuning the shift to the input signal, or for stranger sound effects. At the extremes of the six-octave shift range, some truly strange aliasing and artifacts can be had with this control.

Multiband Distortion And Saturation

Graffio is a three band distortion unit with selectable crossover frequency and three different processors for each band: a saturator, an exciter and a bit reducer. Each of the processor adds a different kind of distortion to your signal, each of the flavors can be mixed with each other or bypassed, each band level is fully adjustable. High quality processing is guaranteed by the same 4x oversampling algorithm found. Of course if you want to distort the whole signal, Graffio works in full band mode too disabling the crossover and the high and low frequencies processors.
