Crunchessor is a general-purpose track compressor for professional audio production applications. One of its main advantages is the ease of tuning, which at the same time instantly delivers an excellent sonic performance. Another remarkable feature of Crunchessor is its valve-type processing, which is applied in parallel to compression. This makes Crunchessor an ideal choice for musicians and producers who are fond of magesy analog compression sound and its warmness. Beside this, Crunchessor offers you a selection of compression coloration styles–by itself a pretty unique feature for a compressor. By choosing an appropriate coloration style, you can add the character most suitable for the sound material you are working with. As an option, you can disable both coloration and valve warming processing to get a neutral and clean compression sound. A special feature of the BBCMP is that it enables the operator to split the incoming signal using the Low Pass and High Pass filters. These then allow you to apply processing (compression, limiting, expansion and gate) to each band independently. Once each band has been processed, the following signal pathway shows you how the separate bands are then summed to produce the final output. The great advantage of processing in this way is that you have full control over the extent to which the 2 bands are processed rather than only the summed signal being processed. This means that if, for example, the low end is strong and pushing the compressor to attenuate the signal when it comes into play, in a standard compressor the higher frequencies would also be compressed at these times. With the BBCMP you can separately control the low end and leave the high end relatively unprocessed, if that is what you need, or conversely deal with the high end and leave the low end with lesser processing.

Slappy is a hysteresis saturated slapback delay for a great sound and quick results. You can use it for creating that classic slapback effect on guitar, vocals and drums. Regular digital saturation can sound harsh in the high end. Our hysteresis saturation, as used in our Bad Tape plugin as well, uses a smoothing algorithm that creates a warm and analog sound known from vintage tape machines.

The Satellite was a rare and less known Moog synthesizer from the mid 70s. It’s a monophonic preset synthesizer with one VCO and limited modulations. It was used mostly as an add-on for electric organs, in fact, the US company Thomas Organ bought the license to build it. Preset sounds include brass, reeds, strings, and other sounds. As many keyboards of that time, the Satellite is not properly tuned along all the keys (especially at the ends) so we included two versions: tuned and untuned.

We’re proud to announce the second edition to our sound development division: echospace sounds. For this second edition we’ve shifted the focus from atmospheres and drones to movements in oscillation, using multiple modular devices to create an organic sonic movement. The tonal character is more on the percussive side of the spectrum, offering samples of our collection of drum machines and the many years spent sampling them. This library is a hybrid collection of digital and analog sounds and one of the most expansive projects we’ve done to date. Over 3.5 GB ranging from analog sequences, atmospheric ambient drones, drum effects, loops, pads and in this edition we’ve also combined loops with individual source sounds, nearly 1000 individual percussive sounds are included. Produced at Echospace studio, processed and mastered through an extensive chain of analog and custom made equipment including but not limited to compressors, ring mod’s, filters, delays, reverbs and waveshaping devices. There’s a vast array of powerful and comprehensive sounds processed and treated with careful attention to detail, outlining over 10 years of extensive sampling work.
