Volume 2 of the Emulator II OMI Universe of Sounds library follows on from Volume 1, adding well over 500 further instruments and expanding the sound palette of the first library hugely. The emphasis this time is a little different from before, with a wide range of classic analogue and digital synths represented, while brass, string and orchestral sounds are characterised by smaller selections but greater fidelity, rather than the sheer breadth of sounds covered in Volume 1.

Ostinato Brass, a perpetual cinematic orchestral brass instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt and Kontakt Player. Ostinato Brass is a phrase library for complex brass chords. Ostinato Strings was met with great acclaim both for the sound and the flexibility of the chord system, so we couldn’t resist following it up with a brass section using the Ostinato engine and with the same intuitive features. We returned to the great recording space we employed for other orchestral libraries and gathered a selection of some of the greatest (and most precise) brass players to perform for us.

Since the original Dulcimer has a range of only two octaves, the highest and lowest octaves are pitched. So playing the main parts and melodies in the middle two octaves is recommended.

CATALYST, our first high end sample library, with over twenty stunning cinematic percussion instruments. The instrument is also compatible with both version 4 and 5 of Kontakt, unlike out other instruments, and comes with a staggering FOUR mic positions to mix between. These include close, overheads, mid, and far mic positions, for ultimate control over the sound. Instruments are sampled with up to five round robins per note, with multiple velocity layers per note, for maximum realism and that extra human sounding quality. Each drum was sampled with different types of mallets/sticks, hard, soft, large, wood, etc, as well as trills and extra and even extended techniques included. This library runs in KONTAKT 4 and above. Library size is 3.04GB
