It features twelve original reverberation algorithms (including the latest Dark reverb modes, Nostromo, Narcissus, Sulaco and LV-426), and produces a wide range of natural reverberation sounds. Sounds range from tight ambiences and rooms, through traditional hall and plate sounds, all the way up to vast modulated spaces. The algorithm designs have been influenced by some of the “classic” room simulation boxes, as well as state of the art modern theory. ValhallaRoom has been designed from a psychoacoustic perspective. Instead of creating a simplified physical model of a simplified physical space, Room generates early and late acoustic energy that provides the spatial and phase cues needed to create an “idealized” room impression.

EdiCue is an application that allows sound editors and supervisors to create ADR cues and department notes within Pro Tools. These cues and notes are generally created after a spotting session and ideally before anyone starts working on the sound for the project – including the scheduling of actors for record. Once all cues and notes have been created, EdiCue exports a range of files including ADR scripts and files to aid with the recording process. These files can be loaded into our partner app EdiPrompt while actors are recorded. EdiPrompt displays the cues on-screen and helps automate the recoding process when using Pro Tools.

EdiChart is an application that allows sound editors and supervisors to generate dubbing charts (cue sheets) for mixers. It loads the audio clip data from a Pro Tools ‘Session Info as Text’ file and Pro Tools marker information from a MIDI file. It then generates a single PDF file showing the clips on each vertical track with markers drawn horizontally, displaying locations as timecodes or footages. Tags can be stored in Pro Tools clips to customise the look of each clip or set how a group of clips are merged. EdiChart can also be used to calculate the total duration of clips used in a session when creating music cue sheets or reports as a text or MS Excel file.
