An accurate emulation of the Neumann w495 3-band EQ. Neumann w495 EQ’s were used to master 90% of the vinyl records manufactured from the 1970s to the 1990s. But even after this golden age, many mastering engineers still love this EQ. Why? Because the w495 has wide equalization curves that can be pushed to ridiculous levels while remaining musical. The w495 is an easy-to-use tone shaper for individual tracks. But It can also enhance presence and depth of an entire mix. But we’ve taken Pulsar W495 even further, adding all the key features you would expect from a modern EQ plugin, including visual curve editing for a fast workflow. From channel EQ to mastering EQ, Pulsar w495 is an easy-to-use powerful tone shaper, faithfully emulated from an iconic 3 band EQ.
CurveEQ is a spline equalizer for professional music and audio production applications. CurveEQ shows you the actual filter response you are designing by means of a spline (a smooth curvy line), so you can actually see what the EQ is doing with the sound. This, in turn, allows you to get the best from your mix and your tracks. CurveEQ perfectly suits the needs of mastering, and in some cases CurveEQ is suitable for use as an in-track equalizer.
AQ550 3-Band Equalizer. The AQ550 faithfully captures the punch, low-frequency transparency, and ultra-tight imaging of iconic American EQs of the late 1960’s. Making use of Proportional Q intuitively widens the filter bandwidth at minimal settings and narrows it at higher settings without the need for additional bandwidth controls. This unique feature minimizes the «phase-shift» sound found in many equalizers. The AQ550 provides reciprocal equalization at 21 points in 5 steps of boost to a maximum of 12 dB of gain at each point. The 21 equalization points are divided into three overlapping ranges. The high and low frequency ranges are individually selectable as either peaking or shelving, and a band-pass filter may be inserted independently of all other selected equalization settings. Frequency ranges and boost/cut are selected by switches, and a pushbutton «IN» switch allows the EQ to be silently introduced to the signal path. A small toggle switch is used to insert the band-pass filter into the AQ550.
Introducing Borsta – Brushed Percussion Borsta (Swedish verb, means to brush) is a drum and percussion instrument that simulates strokes and brushes. Its unique audio engine allows for an endless number of very natural sounding brushing phrases and rhythms. What sets Borsta apart from similar instruments is that its audio engine supports continuous changes in intensity. This makes it possible to create life-like brushing phrases and patterns, something that can’t be easily achieved with ordinary sample-based instruments. The parallel envelope and events sequencers allow you to determine exactly when to start a stroke, how the stroke’s pressure/speed should evolve over time and when to end it. On top of that, each instrument also offers multi-sampled one-shots with advanced choking capabilities.
Two in one unit with filters and eq. Pure solid and discrete emulation of famous units!
