Now at the tips of your fingers is the most versatile horn section in the world, MOJO: Horn Section, which offers the most flexible and innovative approach to pop, funk, jazz, and big band horns ever created in a virtual instrument. Pushing the boundaries of sampling and scripting technology far beyond traditional sample libraries, MOJO offers a simple but feature-packed interface. No need to decide in advance which articulation you want to play. Simply load the instrument, turn the Ensemble knob to specify how many players you want playing that instrument (from a soloist to a dectet) and begin controlling the instrument from the keyboard. Mojo Horn Section Screenshot More than a dozen articulations are instantly loaded and intelligently handled via performance features and keyswitches. Behind the scenes, a humanizing function, smart release layers, and custom legato and vibrato tools assist the player in reproducing the ultimate dimensions in realism. Crescendos and swells sync instantly to host tempos and can be triggered in real time.

Getting a balanced mix is key to achieving a great master that reproduces well across multiple playback systems. In the past, artists and labels would select mastering studio’s based on the engineer and the equipment they used. This was largely due to specific hardware’s ability to add a certain character to a mix. Since the explosion of software based mastering, you would think that these hardware units would be redundant. This however couldn’t be further from the truth, with labels and artists alike, seeking that warm & clear character that boutique EQ’s provide.
Ethnosphere comes with over 300 pristine quality sound banks and includes several kinds of Buzouki, Sitar, Koto Shamisen, Santur, Dulcimer, Psaltry, Harp, Zither, Saz, Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar, Pipe, Ethnic Orchestral Ensemble, Accordion, Musette as well as tons of percussion instruments and loops. Ethnosphere can generate up to 64 voices of polyphony (CPU dependent) at 24 BIT/96Khz quality with 32 bit internal processing.
Scratch track is designed to give you a way to add scratches to your recording projects. You can use this plugin to scratch samples, loops, tracks or live input. This is the only software to offer live scratching, and to support all types of timecoded vinyl, midi learn for controls, automation, and programmable crossfade.
Many producers and synthesizer enthusiasts asked for a full-blown Waldorf Synthesizer for their virtual rack. We listened, and now we proudly present Largo. Largo is the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. And again – it is the cutting edge sound that makes the big difference. No wonder, as Largo mirrors the technology used in Blofeld and Q hardware synthesizers. As for every Waldorf instrument, ergonomics are a core feature on screen as well. Your eyes will be pleased with a clearly structured, graphical user interface that supports your workflow intuitively. Largo offers three fat oscillators, two of them with sub oscillators. These oscillators include models of classic analog waveforms as well as a selection of waves from the PPG and Waldorf Wave stored in two Wavetables. All these run through two Waldorf multimode filters with steep cutoff, resonance up to self-oscillation and a drive stage to add even more punch and grainyness to the sound. Ultra-fast envelope generators and flexible LFOs as well as an easy to understand, yet extremely versatile modulation matrix make for a sound designer’s dream.
A versatile graphical EQ with a wide range of zero latency analogue modelled filters and realtime FFT display. Many digital EQs, including those of some popular Digital Audio Workstations can have an artificially cramped filter response, especially at high frequency settings. This is often cited as a reason for the ‘digital’ sound of some equalizers. Conventional solutions to this problem can be both CPU intensive and add extra latency or other artefacts. The AF2-10 uses innovative filter algorithms to accurately model the natural response of analogue designs, even at close to the limit imposed by the sample rate, without requiring CPU intensive or latency inducing techniques. Up to ten bands are provided covering a comprehensive range of filter types across the full 20Hz to 20kHz audio range together with a sample synchronous realtime FFT display featuring optional pre / post process monitoring and selectable slope compensation.
Having a nice wide stereo spread is great, expect for when we are talking about low frequencies. Mono Bass fixes the wide bass problem by collapsing your low frequencies to mono. Just set your frequency, and everything below that is brought to the center. Most of the time the effect is quite subtle (or at least it should be if your mix isn’t completely out of wack) but it definitely solidifies the low end and fixes a lot of the awkwardness of extreme panning on headphones. Just for added measure, we added a width knob to the higher frequencies.
