Synthesizer Workhorse with Stripes

Zebra is our wireless modular synthesizer. It combines many different types of synthesis with a powerful modulation engine. Imagine – you can create any additive, freehand or spline-based waveform you like, apply a vast selection of spectral effects, morph between those waves and send them through classic synth filters. Perhaps use that entire sound as modulator for an FM oscillator, or route it through a comb filter – the building block of physical modeling synthesis. The Mongolian Vibe from the Steppes MaTouQin (horse-headed fiddle, aka morin khuur), as one of the precious legacies of the Mongolian people, has been heartily embraced by Chinese musicians today as a vital musical element. Its unique sound character complements other classical Chinese instruments in a way like no others. MaTouQin is believed to be originated from the nomadic people during the Tang Dynasty (7th – 10th centuries), and became widely known circa Genghis Khan’s reign. Nowadays, like many other Mongolian legacies, Matouqin has become a valuable part of Chinese culture. Besides the horse-headed pegbox, MaTouQin is very recognizable for its unusual playing techniques and styles. Our production approached MaTouQin in pursuit of the indigenous flavour instead of the more Westernized style, and by delivering that flavour, all the composers and musicians now have a chance to explore and express in the most authentic and original Mongolian flavour easily.

Cinematic Rhythms is a library developed in Kontakt 4, This library was created and designed for the use of sounds in the Music for Film and Game area. Sounds are included to be helpful for Suspense, Cinematic, Soundtrack and Hybrid genres of composition. Cinematic Rhythms User Interface has been designed for a easy and friendly way of navigating through Effects which can be used on the sounds in the library. We have scripted some effects on the UI for easy access straight from a click on the UI that will be useful to experiment with when using the sounds from Cinematic Rhythms. We have also included a View Waveform which show you the sample of specific instruments mainly for our Tonal loops and some of our FX patches. The waveform will include a line which follows the waveform that shows you the slices of the rhythm that Kontakt is using and also it will show you where you are in the Sample when it is playing. Cinematic Rhythms is made from many core features which hold a lot of instruments per category.
