PComp is a universal dynamic range compressor of audio signal.
Complete, Not Complex. If there is a single plugin to take to the desert island, it’s the VCS-1. This zero latency channel strip integrates all the tools needed for instant signal enhancement and dynamics control… and then some! Complexity remains under the hood, as the user interface is based on a comprehensive, practical layout which supports a nimble workflow and is easy on the eyes.
Presswerk is a powerful dynamics processor with a musical soul. An easy-to-use interface and a rich feature set give you hands-on control over all details of your sound. Presswerk doesn’t emulate famous compressors, it blends the warmth of classic hardware models with developments that are only possible in the digital domain.
The classic EQ, now as a VST and an AU… This equalizer comes packed with features, and more importantly, it sounds AWESOME. High cut and Low cut filters, High and Low Shelf filters, up to 6 bands of Bell filters (all with completely sweep-able filter points and adjustable Q sizes). 2 world class EQ algorithms to choose from (good luck!). 30 band spectrum analyzer ‘on board’, along with an intuitive ‘dual surface’ graphical interface…
A linear phase EQ with unparalleled clarity. For mastering ears, and other discerning engineers. Fans of Algorithmix’s legendary original Linear Phase PEQ Orange. Unfortunately, the Algorithmix EQs were available only as 32 bit VSTs for PC and our workstations and our industry has evolved since then. Tischmeyer’s students repeatedly asked for alternatives, which caused him to scan the market for other high class EQs. Colleague Bob Katz recommended EQuilibrium, an insanely versatile tool, which Tischmeyer used for teaching. However, he could not find a satisfying alternative which would take the place of his original PEQ Orange.
Why develop yet one more minimum phase parametric equalizer (PEQ) when there’s already hundreds on the market? The answer is simple…’Cuz there was room for improvement! It was customers of the original LinearPhase PEQ Red and Orange who asked Algorithmix to develop a classic EQ, for recording and mixing tasks, with unparalleled purity and transparency. Over several years, our Dr. Christoph closely analyzed many of the best out there, and compiled a vast knowledgebase of analog EQ best practices. Cherry picking from that, he implemented not just one or two, but an entire collection of trad minimal phase EQs. The result? A distillation of analog antecedents, while others are based on new ideas.
The iconic 31102 preamp/eq (featured in the Neve 8068 consoles) has been used to mix many hit records for years. Guns N’ Roses, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Metallica… etc. We’re proud to present the true analog emulation for one of the best-sounding class A mic pre/EQ modules ever produced. Need 31102 Console Eq, with same character and enhanced with a great modern workflow! The Need 31102 is holding each small detail and true vintage tone of the original unit. Iconic console tone has been reborn!
